Competitive Salary + Benefits

At Marshalls, we believe building tomorrow's world starts with what we can create together today. Since the 1890s, we've grown from a Yorkshire stone business into a leading UK manufacturer of building, roofing and landscaping solutions. Every day, our colleagues help shape the homes, schools, hospitals, streets and infrastructure that communities across the UK rely on. We're proud of our heritage, excited by what's next and committed to creating opportunities for our colleagues to grow, develop and make a real difference. Together, we're shaping the future of our business, our industry and the places people rely on every day.
Our Finance department drives our company forward, from steering major investment projects to transforming data into powerful insights. As trusted business partners, we ensure financial precision, uphold the highest standards in reporting, and safeguard our business's integrity.
We now have a new opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to join our dynamic Business Partnering Finance Team. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to reshape how our Finance team partners with the business and delivers value.

So, what’s the mission?
You'll play a key role in shaping the direction of our Finance function and supporting the delivery of our strategic goals. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll bring together commercial thinking, financial expertise and strong leadership to ensure Finance delivers both valuable business insight and robust financial control.
Leading our Business Partnering team, you'll inspire, coach and develop talented colleagues, creating a culture where people can perform at their best and build rewarding careers. You'll focus on developing capability, strengthening succession plans and nurturing future leaders, ensuring the team is equipped to support the evolving needs of the business.
Partnering with senior leaders across the organisation, you'll turn financial information into meaningful insight that drives better decision-making and improves business performance. As a key member of the Finance leadership team, you'll help shape priorities, influence strategic direction and champion initiatives that enhance reporting, planning and analysis.
This is a highly visible role that will see you working across Finance and operational teams to build strong relationships and drive collaboration. You'll oversee the delivery of core financial processes, including month end, budgeting and forecasting, while identifying opportunities to simplify ways of working and make greater use of automation. Your ability to improve processes and create capacity for deeper analysis will help strengthen Finance's role as a trusted partner and enable the business to make confident, informed decisions for the future.
