About the RoleWe’re evolving our Finance Systems function from operational ownership into a strategic platform team.
This role owns the entire Finance Technology ecosystem ERP, billing, payments, procurement, close, FP&A, reporting, data and automation acting as the de facto Finance CTO for the business.
You’ll partner closely with Finance Leadership, Product, Engineering, Legal and Security to build a modern, scalable, AI-enabled finance stack that supports growth, compliance and data-driven decision-making.
This is not a traditional systems manager role. It’s a transformation leadership position focused on turning Finance into a high-impact, technology-powered function.
What You’ll DoOwn the end-to-end Finance Systems strategy, defining the roadmap across ERP, billing, payments, procurement, close, FP&A, reporting, data platforms and automation.
Act as the technical transformation partner to Finance leadership, translating business needs into scalable system architecture and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, insight and control.
Lead the design and evolution of a modern, cloud-native finance stack, including integrations and APIs across Finance, Product, GTM, Legal and Security.
Drive automation across core finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash), reducing manual effort and improving speed, accuracy and audit readiness.
Introduce AI-enabled tooling and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, reconciliation, controls and operational visibility.
Partner closely with FP&A, Accounting and Commercial Finance to enable real-time reporting, scenario modelling and decision support.
Own vendor strategy across finance platforms, including system selection, implementation, optimisation and contract management, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with business priorities.
Embed governance, compliance, security and financial controls directly into system design, working closely with Legal, Security and Risk teams.
Lead major transformation initiatives such as system migrations, platform consolidation and process redesign as the business scales.
Build and develop a high-performing Finance Systems team, acting as a centre of excellence for Finance Technology, automation and data enablement.
Drive change management, documentation, training and adoption across Finance to ensure new systems and processes are fully embedded.
Serve as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering on payments, billing models and embedded finance capabilities, supporting future product expansion.
Ideally, you’ll bring hands-on experience leading Finance Technology transformation across complex, scaling environments, including:
9+ years’ experience in Finance Systems, Enterprise Systems or Finance Technology leadership roles.
Proven delivery of ERP implementations and ownership of ERP ecosystems (e.g. Workday Financials or similar).
Experience implementing broader finance tooling across billing, payments, procurement, close, FP&A and reporting platforms.
Demonstrated success driving finance automation processes across core workflows, improving efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
Track record of delivering large-scale finance transformation programmes.
Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A).
Experience operating in SaaS, Fintech or highly regulated environments.
Proven ability to partner with senior Finance stakeholders, including CFO-level leadership.
