GBT is looking for a driven and customer focused candidate to join our Global Infrastructure Support team within the Technology organization. The Head of End User Computing plays an exciting pivotal role across Travel Management and software and service, responsible and accountable for all IT End User Computing (EUC) activities and facilities – ensuring optimal and cost-effective IT tools and education are provided to promote business productivity.

Responsible for continuous review of the EUC service offerings, exceeding expectations for performance against SLA’s and KPI’s, seeking to improve and increase user satisfaction and deliver an excellent user experience. Management of the EUC hardware and software estate, ensuring compliance, governance, version control, and clarity of purpose and use alongside helping shape the future business requirements

We are developing at Amex GBT a travel platform called SMP (Supply MarketPlace).

The aims of this project are to manage all Amex GBT supply thanks to this platform and provide the best experience to users thanks to a powerful, scalable, and optimized product.

The team is international, based mainly in Paris and split into several SCRUM teams in a micro-services architecture.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

• Ownership and accountability for developing, managing and leading a EUC global team providing technical support and expertise for the entire organization by adopting a customer service, delivery and continuous improvement ethos
• Define, develop and maintain EUC Services and capabilities in conjunction and alignment with the other Technology Services functions.
• Lead the EUC and Technical team creating vision, setting and communicating direction and bringing clarity to ensure they are equipped to deliver and develop
• Representation of End User Compute to deliver value and operational requirements with Vendors and Suppliers
• Accountable for planning and managing the maintenance and patching of existing services to agreed levels minimizing vulnerabilities and risk for the business
• Be the EUC team lead / subject matter expert on all EUC matters with accountability for overall service performance and as an escalation point
• Expert knowledge in EUC technologies including but not limited to Microsoft OS, Intune, macOS, JAMF, Tanium, OKTA,

• Identification and escalation of critical issues
• Ability to cross communicate in a global environment
• Focused on prioritizing the right things and planning to ensure success
• Decisive, ‘can do’ attitude whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and seeing action through to delivery
• Innovator who can develop new ideas and ways to improve the service we offer
• Capacity to work effectively in a virtual environment within a global team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience of defining, communicating, managing and driving transformation and change related to End User Compute and Technical Support
• 5+ years experience and a proven track record in End User Computing
• Proven leadership skills in mentoring and developing at both individual and team level
• Ability to work independently alongside demonstratable experience of successful collaboration across functional boundaries with multiple colleagues and teams to solve business issues and improve performance.
• Relationship-oriented, a good listener with a fluent ability to engage and adapt their approach to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Time management/organizational & change management skills
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills with the ability to think analytically & conceptually
• Understanding and appreciation of working across a globally based eco system and environment
• Expertise in ITIL processes and industry best practices along with thorough understanding of project management
