Job Description

The Head of Demand Generation will be pivotal in shaping BlueOptima’s marketing strategy and driving scalable growth. This leader will collaborate closely with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) and outbound sales functions to create and execute demand-generation initiatives that attract, engage, and convert target audiences into high-quality leads and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with company goals and sales targets.
  • Identify and prioritise key marketing channels to maximise lead acquisition and nurture conversion rates.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid media, content marketing, webinars, and events.
  • Leverage data analytics to track, measure, and optimise the effectiveness of campaigns.

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Partner closely with SDRs and outbound sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoffs and follow-ups.
  • Align marketing campaigns with sales objectives and feedback to refine targeting and messaging.

Lead Generation and Nurturing:

  • Design and manage lead scoring and nurturing programs to improve the quality of leads passed to sales.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of inbound and outbound marketing funnels.

Technology and Tools:

  • Oversee the implementation and utilisation of marketing technologies (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms).
  • Continuously assess and refine the MarTech stack for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Leadership and Team Building:

  • Build and grow, then lead and mentor the demand generation team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to amplify the impact of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in demand generation or a related marketing leadership role, ideally in the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, sales processes, and revenue generation.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Salary: Base £75K - £92K GBP( Based on Experience) , OTE up to £15K
