Job Description Summary
• Lead the strategic dialogue both internally and externally in line with the strategic plan to build best in class data function for BCB through strategy and cross functional leadership. Lead strategic and tactical planning, focusing on solutions for current and future business data practice problems.
• Working with the BCB SLT, develop the Data agenda for BCB in support of business objectives. Through the co-ordination of activities and the associated thought leadership across priority stakeholders, systematically identify scope and assess opportunities to deliver performance improvement across BCB and the constituent product and coverage businesses. Proactively drive through associated actions.
• Establish requirements for the collection, delivery and use of data and associated systems. Develop and maintain a responsive and robust data information architecture.
Job Description
- Demonstrated track record of operating at a senior management level (e.g. BCB ExCom), with deep experience of delivering strategic projects and cross business unit change programmes.
- Experience of driving transformational business and technology change in a data-centric role (alternate experience in cross functional roles like data architecture may be applicable)
- Strong influencing/relationship management skills at a senior level and across the business, with the ability to credibly engage with both front line (Products and Coverage) and key support and control functions (Risk, Finance)
