Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the global tax landscape of a world-leading sustainability-focused industrial company?

FLSmidth is looking for a forward-thinking Head of Corporate Tax Reporting to take ownership of our global tax reporting framework and ensure compliance across markets. In this role, you will make a real impact, driving tax transparency, strengthening governance, and partnering closely with finance leaders.

You will report to the Global Head of Tax, based in Denmark, and lead a team of skilled tax professionals on a journey of continuous improvement and professional growth.

What You Will Own

  • Lead and develop FLSmidth’s global consolidated tax reporting, including tax provisions, deferred tax assets, and effective tax rate calculations.

  • Drive a strong tax governance framework that ensures global compliance and mitigates risks across jurisdictions.

  • Manage the Danish corporate tax return and joint taxation process.

  • Stay ahead of regulatory developments—translate international and local tax law changes into strategic opportunities for the business.

  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, Legal, Treasury, Business Finance, auditors, advisors, and tax authorities.

  • Nurture a high-performing team of 3–5 tax specialists, fostering learning, ownership, and excellence.

  • Champion the use of tax technology and systems to elevate accuracy, efficiency, and transparency (including OneStream).

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (CPA, CTA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.

  • 5–8 years of corporate tax experience from a multinational environment or a leading advisory firm.

  • Strong command of IFRS and Danish corporate tax legislation.

  • Analytical strength paired with the ability to simplify complexity for stakeholders.

  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

  • Experience with tax software and consolidation systems (OneStream preferred).

  • Fluency in English; Danish is a plus.
