Goodyear is one of the world’s most recognisable brands, keeping Australia and New Zealand moving with premier tyre technology. We are looking for a visionary Head of Commercial Sales – ANZ to lead our commercial business to new heights.

In this role, you will manage sales as you define the future of our commercial operations. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth, market share expansion, and channel competitiveness across the ANZ region. This is a high-impact leadership position where your strategic decisions directly ensure the company’s long-term success.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Director of Commercial Sales, you will lead a high-performing national sales organisation. Your key focus areas will include:

  • Define route-to-market designs and develop clear sales strategies for both tyres and services to align with market opportunities.
  • Own the delivery of volume, market share, and gross margin targets while ensuring strict pricing discipline and mix optimisation.
  • Lead the development of our distributor and service networks while driving large fleet penetration and retention through sophisticated RFQ management.
  • Oversee contract execution, demand planning, and S&OP discipline to ensure world-class customer service levels and fulfillment.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D to enable new product launches and ensure end-to-end business delivery.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing sales team, defining clear performance management structures and robust succession pipelines.

What We Are Looking For

  • Extensive experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the FMCG, Automotive, or industrial sectors.
  • A track record of developing long-range plans (AOP) and successfully implementing route-to-market strategies.
  • Deep expertise in P&L management, pricing discipline, and joint business planning with large-scale strategic partners.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from global R&D teams to local independent distributors.
  • A self-motivated leader with a resilience to drive change and accelerate the adoption of new commercial solutions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline are highly preferred.
