Job Description

We are seeking a commercially minded, analytically strong leader to build and scale the revenue engine behind our Global Embedded Payments Partners (EPP) business. This role sits at the centre of commercial strategy, deal design, and revenue optimisation — shaping how we model value, negotiate commercial constructs, and unlock meaningful, sustainable growth across global partner channels.

As the Head of Commercial Modelling & Revenue Optimisation, you will architect the frameworks, insights, and rigor that enable high quality decision making across the organisation. You will influence multimillion dollar partner deals, ensure tight alignment with Finance, and deliver KPI driven reporting that powers performance management and long term planning.

This is a highly cross functional and visible leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives where commercial strategy meets operational execution.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

1. Commercial Strategy & Deal Architecture

  • Design robust commercial models for partner deals, including pricing frameworks, margin analysis, sensitivity scenarios, and long‑term value projections.
  • Provide strategic guidance during negotiations to secure optimal economics and scalable contract structures.
  • Build and embed methodologies to evaluate ROI and commercial performance by partner type and segment.

2. Revenue Insights, Reporting & KPI Governance

  • Build executive‑level dashboards and reporting mechanisms that clearly articulate revenue performance, partner contribution, and leading indicators.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate revenue metrics across FP&A, Finance, and internal systems.
  • Own quarterly and annual revenue planning, forecasting, and variance analysis — turning data into action.

3. Operational Excellence & Cross‑Functional Enablement

  • Partner with Finance, Sales Enablement, Product, and regional commercial teams to integrate revenue operations seamlessly into go‑to‑market execution.
  • Drive process improvements across deal tracking, partner onboarding, and performance measurement.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, including verticalization strategies, global distribution optimisation, and commercial playbook creation.

4. Leadership, Influence & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the commercial thought partner to senior leadership within the Global EPP organisation. Lead cross‑functional working groups focused on revenue optimisation, analytics, and commercial enablement.
  • Elevate organisational understanding of partner economics and commercial performance drivers.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in revenue operations, commercial finance, pricing strategy, or strategic planning within payments, SaaS, fintech, or embedded finance.
  • Demonstrated excellence in financial modelling, complex deal architecture, and performance analytics.
  • Deep understanding of partner ecosystems (ISVs, ERPs, eCommerce platforms).
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and simplify complex analysis into crisp recommendations.
  • Advanced command of Excel and financial modelling tools; experience with BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.

Why This Role Is a Unique Opportunity

  • High strategic impact: You shape the economic backbone of the EPP business and influence partner deals that shift global revenue.
  • Cross‑functional visibility: You operate at the intersection of Commercial, Finance, Product, and Executive Leadership.
  • Scaling environment: The embedded payments ecosystem is rapidly evolving — you will build frameworks that set the standard for years to come.
  • Innovation meets execution: A rare chance to combine strategic modelling with real commercial influence.
