Responsible for supporting the development of commercial brand partnerships across the European region with a Global remit for the develeopment of JD Sports License agreements. The Strategic objective of this role is to build and strengthen our new and existing brand partnerships, enhance brand commercial terms and support business development opportunities. This role will support the Brand Relationship Director and will be working closely with key stakeholders from Buying and Merchandising, Retail, Marketing and Finance as well as senior leadership members across the JD Group fascias.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing and nurturing ongoing relationships with assigned brands, acting as the lead point of contact at defined levels
  • Leading on long-term strategy for assigned brands
  • Regularly meeting with brand representatives to discuss performance, address challenges and promote collaboration
  • Developing a deep relationship and understanding of portfolio brands goals, positioning and market needs to drive mutual success
  • Identifying and managing key strategic priorities for each brand to ensure alignment with business objective
  • Developing operational scorecards to track performance against monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience of working in Commercial or Finance management roles at a senior manager position
  • Expert knowledge of the retail industry is key.
  • Strong business acumen is essential along with experience of forecasting, annual budgeting, cost control, trade analysis and reporting on an EMEA marketwide scale.
  • Proven experience of negotiation excellence
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; superior verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work as part of a growing multi-cultural team in a fast-moving environment
