The Head of Chains will develop and execute strategies for the Global Chains department, manage a high-performing team, nurture relationships with key chains globally, and drive sales through partnerships. Responsibilities also include providing insights through reporting and ensuring success in chain accounts, along with representing the company in high-level meetings.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop, drive, and execute the strategy for our Global Chains department. Identify and leverage opportunities to improve sales and drive business through chain partnerships.
- Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team to support the department's objectives.
- Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key chains globally. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level chain negotiations and quarterly executive meetings.
- Technical Expertise: Understand and work with different connection types and platforms relevant to chains. Leverage knowledge of XML and other technical solutions to optimise chain integrations.
- Account and Sales Management: Manage chain accounts, ensuring their success and alignment with company objectives. Develop and execute strategies to improve chain sales performance.
- Reporting and Insights: Deliver comprehensive reporting suites for executive and leadership visibility. Provide actionable insights to enhance decision-making at the executive level.
- Market Understanding and Third-Party Activities: Stay abreast of third-party activities impacting chains and proactively address them. Understand market dynamics to position the company effectively.
- Travel and Networking: Travel globally as required to represent the company in high-level meetings and networking opportunities.
- Proven experience in managing and driving strategy for global chains.
- Strong network and established contacts in key chains worldwide.
- Demonstrated success in improving sales performance through strategic chain partnerships.
- Expertise in XML and an understanding of connection platforms.
- Ability to deliver under pressure with a results-driven mindset.
- Skilled in preparing and presenting data-driven insights to executive leadership.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in English (C1-C2 level). Fluency in additional languages relevant to global operations (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, or French).
