What you'll do

As our Head of Campaigns & Regional Media, you’ll be creating, planning, designing and delivering proactive multi-channel campaigns designed to support the priorities and commercial objectives of the bank across national, regional and digital media, to tell our story to customers, political and policy stakeholders, colleagues and communities across the UK.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Overseeing all campaign strategy ensuring the development and delivery of strategic campaigns that support the bank’s purpose, ambition and strategy
  • Overseeing spend, delivering against the annual financial plan and budget and tracking return on investment, while considering longer term requirements
  • Establishing strong networks within the Marketing, Communications and Strategy teams
  • Leading on making sure campaigns align with, and are amplified by marketing initiatives as well as building our corporate brand
  • Leading on joining up internal and external campaigns activity across the function
  • Providing intelligent counsel and advice to senior leaders on campaign strategy and activity
  • Leading and influencing a diverse team of professionals to deliver excellent results and impact  
The skills you'll need

To make an impact with us, you’ll need excellent leadership and people management skills, paired with a strong use of data to derive insights. You’ll also bring deep experience in creating and delivering creative, innovative and strategic campaigns.

Additionally, you’ll demonstrate:

  • An excellent understanding of campaign strategy with the ability to set and deliver against commercial objectives, designing and implementing multi-stakeholder and multi-channel campaigns
  • Good commercial acumen with experience in tracking and measuring impact of campaign and brand-building activity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at senior level
  • Experience as a media relations practitioner, with media network experience also being an advantage
  • Experience with social media and influencers, broadcast and video, and multi-channel planning

Experience of public policy across UK nations and regions would also be an advantage.
