 WisdomTree is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Benelux and French Speaking Regions (FSR), based in London/Paris, to lead our sales and distribution efforts in the region.

 

Reporting into the European Head of Distribution, the successful candidate will lead sales efforts, drive asset growth, and oversee client relationships across institutional and intermediary segments in the Benelux and French-speaking regions, while developing and executing strategic distribution plans to expand WisdomTree’s presence in the region.

Key Objectives

  • Generate net new assets and expand WisdomTree’s ETF/ETP market share in the Benelux and French-speaking regions.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships in the region with a focus on institutional and intermediary clients.
  • Work closely with the Head of Distribution to develop and implement a comprehensive and growth-focused distribution strategy across the Benelux and French-speaking regions.
  • Adopt a client-centric and value-added sales approach by understanding client needs, leveraging internal expertise, and translating these needs into opportunities while maintaining client credibility and trust.

Key Responsibilities and Scope

  • Achieve individual and team annual flow and activity targets while contributing to the broader business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor and develop an ambitious and talented team of 3 sales specialists dedicated to the region.
  • Distribute WisdomTree ETFs/ETPs across institutional and intermediary clients in the Benelux and FSR.
  • Identify, anticipate, and address client requirements, sharing insights with internal stakeholders, and positioning yourself as an authority on the market and client segment.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team and internal stakeholders to define localised plans and focus initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a detailed distribution plan for institutional and intermediary clients in in the region, leveraging internal marketing and research resources.
  • Coordinate sales, marketing, and research activities.
  • Plan and ensure accountability for client events.
  • Assist in public relations/media messaging and activities.
  • Become an expert on WisdomTree ETFs and ETPs, including their structures, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Share and promote WisdomTree’s investment ideas and research with both new and existing clients.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., research, marketing, PR, product development, compliance, and capital markets), promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Stay informed on industry and market trends and ensure WisdomTree is well positioned to take advantage of local market opportunities.
  • Accountability for the maintenance and growth of the internal CRM – map regional client organisations and ensure all relevant contacts, notes and activities are entered timely and accurately.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of proven sales and business development experience within the asset management industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Languages: Native in French, fluent in English.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the investor landscape and relevant client base in the Benelux and French-speaking regions.
  • Strong network of existing client relationships and experience in building strong relationships across client segments.
  • Previous experience with ETFs/ETPs is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of ETFs/ETPs and their appeal to investors.
  • Strong market knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, diligence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated team player with an entrepreneurial, collaborative and innovative mindset.
