About the team

Stripe is investing in building out its Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) product sales team to actively engage prospects and customers to help them transform their business through building on Stripe’s platform. 

As the Head of BaaS Revenue & Growth (EMEA) you will be a critical part of the go-to-market leadership team, driving strategy and operations for Stripe’s BaaS GTM resulting in accelerated revenue growth across the Issuing, Treasury, and Capital product areas.

What you’ll do

  • As the Head of BaaS Revenue & Growth (EMEA), you will lead a team of high-performing sales executives while helping them deliver on ambitious targets across three key products: Issuing, Treasury & Capital. 
  • We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving complicated problems with limited oversight.
  • Ideal candidates will have sales management and leadership experience bringing a new product to market, scaling a technology sales team, excellent communication skills, and a knack for understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of product sales executives focused on the BaaS business within the EMEA region.
  • Create go-to-market plans and solutions to meet our customer needs, in collaboration with Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics.
  • Be accountable for driving revenue, increasing attach rates, and new client acquisition at high rates of growth.
  • Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle.
  • Get hands on engaged in the largest, most strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships and helping the team win new customers.
  • Inspire, motivate, and enable individual development to promote career growth of direct reports.
  • Lead with clarity and context with a compelling plan in line with Stripe’s direction.
  • Create structure and focus for GTM ideas and product sales campaigns that the product team is exploring. Drive execution and measurement. Analyze results and make recommendations for action in a timely manner.
  • Constantly innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas, sharing best practices, and improving the business and customer engagement model.

Minimum requirements

  • 10+ years of technology sales experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience in payments, card issuing, spend management, or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of high performance in a new business sales and existing customer upselling role
  • Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team, and work in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships, motivate others, drive collaboration, teaming & resolve conflict between diverse stakeholder groups
  • High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results
