Job Description

The Head of AI Product is a key strategic and operational leader on Informa’s Inform Labs Innotation team. The role will collaborate with commercial leaders and the central product team to shape product offerings for teams and products covering our generative AI Platform Elysia, internal and customer-facing AI solutions across Informa’s global business. The Head of AI Product will identify new opportunities to embeed AI across the organization, leverage AI to delight and satisfy our customers, achieve business goals, improve our ways of working and drive alignment across teams, divisions and capabilities. Through exceptional team leadership and development, as well as relationships with senior business stakeholders, the Head of AI Product will foster a culture of excellence and accountability capable of producing digital experiences commensurate with our first-class platforms, events and content.

Key Responsibilities, Skills & Capabilities

  • Co-Create with the Chief AI & Innovation Officer and Innovation Labs Teams the forward-looking product strategy for Informa’s AI Platform, Elysia.
  • Collaborate with commercial and other product leads to craft the AI product vision and strategy for Elysia, and with the Product Design team to explore product ideas and concepts so they can be prioritized and designed to align with that vision and strategy
  • Act as the primary advocate for Elysia, representing its functionality and potential to solve business problems effectively.
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and results clearly and crisply to the executive team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with commercial leads to create and evolve product roadmaps across multiple product lines to achieve Informa’s AI transformation, with a deep understanding of priorities and dependencies, both business and technological
  • Facilitate workshops, discussions, and presentations to communicate the value of AI-driven solutions and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Shape our features for our AI Platform, coming up with scalable, streamlined ways we can embed AI throughout the organization as well across customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with delivery, engineering and solution architecture to design, build and launch software efficiently and effectively, with an eye to optimizing our cross-functional ways of working
  • Guide the creation/selection of success metrics for user engagement and product performance to demonstrate the value of new features to our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Analyse product performance through metrics and user feedback and promote a culture of data-led continuous improvement for our products
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and approaches to product development and innovation design
  • Inspire and motivate a high-performing, collaborative Product and Business Analysists individuals and promote their professional growth and development
  • Contribute to improving the product management function – processes, practices and deliverables and its impact across Informa
  • Support the Lead Product Managers in their efforts to balance customer needs with resource constraints and roadmap timelines

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, and automation.
  • Experience in championing AI solutions and driving adoption within large organizations.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities associated with AI implementation in business contexts.
  • Background in AI product development or related fields.
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative and customer-centric mindset
  • Progressive product management experience including leadership roles
  • Experience working in the agile scrum delivery methodology
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen
  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches
  • Experience driving decisions using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Adaptable, agile and speedy, with a willingness to take calculated risks, mitigate those risks, and learn from the outcome
  • High EQ and social awareness when working both internally and externally
  • Ability to translate and communicate data into concise, insightful, and actionable recommendations
