About the role

We’re looking for a Head of Acquisition Marketing to lead Typeform’s acquisition engine.

This is a critical leadership role at the intersection of paid media, web, growth, and conversion. You’ll bring together our paid media and web teams to build a more connected acquisition engine, with clear accountability from the first click through to self-serve conversion.

You’ll own the strategy for how we attract, convert, and acquire customers at scale, balancing growth with efficiency and keeping a close eye on CAC, conversion, and revenue.

You’ll also help us prepare for what’s next. The way people discover and interact with businesses online is changing quickly, particularly with AI and the evolution toward a more clickless web. You’ll help Typeform evolve its acquisition playbook while partnering with our wider marketing and sales teams as we develop new products and expand our go-to-market motion.

What you'll do
  • Own Typeform’s end-to-end self-serve acquisition strategy, from paid media through to web conversion and signup.
  • Lead and develop a team across acquisition and web, including our paid media and web functions.
  • Set the strategy, priorities, and roadmap for our acquisition channels, identifying where we should invest, experiment, scale, or stop.
  • Lead paid acquisition across channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, and retargeting.
  • Partner with the web team to improve conversion across the customer journey through structured CRO and experimentation.
  • Build a rigorous testing culture across campaigns, audiences, creative, messaging, landing pages, and web experiences.
  • Own and improve our acquisition measurement framework, including CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates, and attribution.
  • Partner with Finance and Data to make sure our investment decisions are grounded in reliable performance data.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our channel mix and build new acquisition loops as our product and positioning evolve.
  • Help Typeform adapt its acquisition strategy to the changing search and discovery landscape, including the impact of LLMs and AI.
  • Partner with our Sales Marketing leader to test how paid acquisition can support outbound and ABM motions.
  • Build strong relationships across Marketing and the wider business, bringing clarity and alignment to our acquisition strategy.
What we're looking for
  • Significant experience leading acquisition, growth, or performance marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS or PLG business.
  • Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and retargeting.
  • A strong track record of scaling acquisition while improving efficiency and unit economics.
  • Experience leading web conversion optimization and experimentation programs.
  • A strong understanding of PLG funnels and the journey from acquisition through activation and conversion.
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROAS, and conversion rates.
  • Experience with web analytics, attribution, and BI tools.
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
  • A track record of building processes and measurement frameworks in evolving environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Data, Creative, and Sales.
  • A builder mentality. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy getting into the detail, and know when to zoom out and think strategically.

It'd be great if you also have
  • Experience with ABM or outbound marketing and platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase.
  • Experience managing agencies or external digital partners.
  • An understanding of SEO and organic acquisition.
  • Experience working in a business moving from a primarily PLG motion toward a more hybrid PLG and sales-led model.
