Grade: 4.3

Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 7.30am to 16.30pm 

Location: Airbus Newport, NP10 8FZ

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and supervise a team of engineers and specialist subcontractors

  • Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met

  • Monitor and enforce contract obligations

  • Ensure engineer reports are completed promptly upon fault identification

  • Monitor and maintain spreadsheets used by the engineering team

  • Liaise with the Admin team on a daily basis

  • Stand in for the Hard Services Manager during periods of absence

  • Oversee day-to-day engineering operations and workflow

  • Take part in the on call rota 1 week in 4 


What we're looking for:

  • Ability to pass DBS check

  • Proven supervisory or team management experience

  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and contract management

  • Strong understanding of engineering operations and maintenance

  • Ability to manage and coordinate specialist subcontractors

  • Proficient in spreadsheet monitoring and data management

  • Excellent communication and liaison skills

  • Ability to work hands-on as a working supervisor

  • Capable of deputising for senior management

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Electrician or Plumber desirable
