As a GTM Manager, you will establish relationships with manufacturers, shape go-to-market strategies, manage the sales cycle, and refine operations for pipeline generation.
The summary above was generated by AI

Ethon was built to eliminate the trillion-dollar waste problem in manufacturing. We are the technology leader in Industrial AI, building agentic workflows that help manufacturers optimize cost, quality, and speed of production. We are a fast-growing team driving massive impact in one of the largest and most underserved industries in the world.

We serve the leading manufacturers across the globe. From Siemens and Bosch to Lindt and Roche, our customers trust us to make their factories run better. We are backed by leading investors like Index Ventures, General Catalyst, and Earlybird. Our team draws from Palantir, MBB, Meta, Google, and top manufacturing companies, all here for the same reason: giving manufacturers the technology to run every factory at unprecedented productivity.

In this role, you will bring Ethon to leading manufacturers. You will own new customer relationships from the first conversation to the signed contract. You will shape how we go to market; the segments we enter, the messaging that lands, and the playbook the team runs. You will work directly with founders and cross-functional teams on the decisions that drive our growth.

This role is not for everyone. You will be selling into complex, often skeptical industrial environments where trust is earned over time. Deals are rarely linear, and you will need to create momentum where none exists.

What GTM Means Here

Everyone in our GTM team is technical, sharp, and commercially driven. This is not a role where you follow a script. You will operate across three dimensions:

Sales

You will sit across from plant managers, operations leaders, and process engineers who run production lines worth millions. You will spend time on shopfloors, understand how production actually works, and build a compelling case for why Ethon is the answer. You own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signing a contract. You don’t wait for pipeline. You create it. You proactively identify opportunities, break into accounts, and build relationships from scratch.

Strategy

You shape our GTM motion; which industries we prioritize, what messaging lands, how we position against incumbents. You develop a point of view on where Ethon can create outsized impact and bring that thinking to the team.

Operations

You help us build a scalable GTM engine. You work with business development, marketing, and deployment teams to refine how we generate pipeline, run deals, and convert faster. What works, you systematize. What doesn't, you fix.

What You’ll Actually Do

You will talk to process engineers on the shopfloor and COOs in the boardroom, sometimes in the same week. You understand their operations, their KPIs, and where the pain is.

You go beyond surface-level discovery. You dig deep into operational challenges, uncover the real pain, and understand how decisions are actually made.

You earn credibility with operators, engineers, and executives alike. You can walk into a factory, ask the right questions, and quickly build trust in environments that are often skeptical of AI.

You travel to customer sites, attend industry events, and spend time on shopfloors. The best insights come from being where things are made.

You are comfortable owning a number, closing deals, and being measured on actual outcomes. You are comfortable hearing “no” repeatedly and persistently working towards a “yes.”

You collaborate with our company leadership on strategic accounts and key GTM decisions. Your input shapes the company's direction.

You move fast and fix things. If something in how we sell is broken, you flag it, propose a fix, and execute. We iterate in weeks, not quarters. You act like an owner, not an employee. You take responsibility for outcomes, not just activities.

You work with exceptional people. We are a team of highly ambitious people who push each other to get better. We take the work seriously and each other's growth personally. We want to win and have fun doing it.

You Might Be a Fit If…

You are technical enough to run deep discovery on a customer's production process and commercially sharp enough to close the deal yourself. You are not one or the other. You are both.

You are early-career and hungry. You have 2-5 years of experience, enough to know what great looks like, and enough runway to grow into something much bigger here.

You are curious and sharp enough to learn a new domain fast. Manufacturing is complex. You find that exciting, not intimidating.

You have a builder mindset. You communicate what you learn clearly, fix what's broken, and build what's missing.

You are coachable, likeable, and intellectually honest. People trust you quickly. You make the team around you better.

You would rather own a problem than be told exactly what to do.

Great fits tend to come from backgrounds like:

  • Founding experience, with firsthand exposure to building and selling a product

  • Technical enterprise platforms (Palantir or C3.ai) with customer-facing experience

  • Top consulting firms (MBB or equivalent) with a technical background

  • Technical GTM roles at high-growth scaleups

  • Digital transformation in manufacturing, where things were moving too slow

Bonus:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial tech, or operations

  • A technical degree in engineering, data science, mathematics, or a related field

  • Familiarity with how production data flows; Historians, MES, SCADA, ERP

  • Experience with enterprise sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar

  • Fluency in German, French, or other European languages

The Environment

We are building an office in London. You will be here at least three days a week, because the hardest problems get solved in person.

Feedback loops are short. Access to founders is direct. People who prove themselves here grow fast and take on real responsibility.

Additionally, we offer:

  • Performance-based career and growth paths

  • On-site work with significant scope for flexible schedules

  • Competitive compensation including stock options giving you a stake in Ethon's long-term success

  • Vacation bonus if you take two consecutive weeks of vacation

  • Flexible parental leave

  • Learning budget for courses, conferences, and coaching

If this sounds like your kind of work, we would like to meet you.

We're committed to building a team that reflects the diverse world we live in. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, and we especially welcome voices traditionally underrepresented in tech.
