About Aries

Aries is a rapidly-scaling, next-generation software group purpose-built to scale founder-led, mission-critical SaaS companies at the heart of the $50B+ cloud ecosystem. We unify niche B2B SaaS businesses under Aries' AI and Growth Platform - unlocking visibility, velocity, and value across our portfolio. With a permanent capital base and ~$200M invested annually, we’re building a new model for software scale focused on long-term value.

The Role
We’re looking for a Director of Go-To-Market Strategy to work directly inside our portfolio companies — leading early commercial efforts as an embedded operator. You’ll be hands-on in sales: prospecting, pitching, and closing deals like an AE, while also building scalable go-to-market foundations that companies can grow on.
You’ll partner closely with founders and leadership teams to identify ICPs, shape messaging, and turn early traction into repeatable revenue. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in zero-to-one environments and wants to build multiple revenue engines from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own early sales motions: generate pipeline, lead demos, manage objections, and close deals

  • Develop outbound and inbound strategies tailored to each company’s market and maturity

  • Build GTM systems and tooling (CRM, reporting, outreach automation)

  • Collaborate with product and marketing to align positioning and messaging

  • Transition successful playbooks to early hires and support team ramp-up

  • Document best practices into reusable templates and toolkits for the broader portfolio

About You

  • 5–8+ years in B2B SaaS sales or GTM leadership, ideally with early-stage experience

  • Proven track record selling to technical and/or enterprise buyers

  • Comfortable operating independently across different products and industries

  • Strong communication, structured thinking, and high execution velocity

  • Based in London, with flexibility to work from our office several days per week

Nice to Have

  • Experience as an early sales hire at a startup/in region

  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Clearbit, Notion, Clay

Why Aries

  • Sell and scale across a portfolio of high-potential SaaS businesses

  • Work directly with founders and early teams on real business problems

  • Learn and build across multiple verticals, playbooks, and growth stages

What you need to know about the London Tech Scene

London isn't just a hub for established businesses; it's also a nursery for innovation. Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
