Smarkets is a trading platform for sports, political and current events that has handled more than £29 billion in traded volume since 2010. Our goal is to fix the sports betting industry by creating a transparent platform that offers the best value for users, with not only the best odds but also the latest technology, alongside an amazing customer experience.

Our latest offshoot is SBK, an app that aims to provide the best casual betting experience. We launched it in 2019 and are now looking to scale it up. The SBK mission is simple, but not simplistic: Rewriting the Sportsbook.

We prioritize giving exceptional value back to our customers, which means our growth strategy isn’t just about spending more—it’s about scaling creatively and efficiently.

That’s why we need a world-class Growth Product Manager to drive exponential growth across our three B2C brands:

  • Smarkets – A cutting-edge sports and current events trading platform for recreational traders
  • SBK – A next-gen betting app built for price-sensitive bettors
  • OddsIndex – An education platform offering data, tools, and content to empower bettors

Your mission: maximize user acquisition and conversion by optimizing key funnels—landing pages, websites, ads—and unlocking viral growth levers. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, design, data, and engineering to create scalable, high-impact growth strategies.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Design, experiment, and optimise landing pages for all three B2C brands to maximise conversions (prospects taking next action).
  • Design, experiment, and optimize sign-up funnels for all three B2C brands to maximise conversions (account created) and long-term retention.
  • Maximise organic growth opportunities through SEO ( (link-building, content optimization, structured data), ASO, as well as virality loops in product.
  • Develop referral programs, social sharing features, and incentives to drive organic growth.
  • Experiment with subscription models, pricing strategies, and paywalls to increase revenue.

About You

  • Proven growth hacker—you have a track record of scaling a product, optimizing funnels, and increasing conversions.
  • Deep SEO and ASO knowledge—you understand how to rank and how to convert traffic.
  • You know what K-factor is—and you’ve worked on strategies to increase it.
  • You are a product geek. You know all the top apps and websites and why they got big.
  • You’re highly analytical and commercially minded, with a deep understanding of advanced data analysis. You have a proven track record of driving impact through experimentation, optimization, and scalable growth strategies.
  • You’re a fast learner, humble and curious, and enjoy learning every day and sharing your knowledge and experience.
  • Nice-to-have, but not required:
    • You’ve built and grown a product (app/website) with real users.
    • Experience with subscription products (mobile apps).
