About the role

Job Purpose

As Growth Operations Associate you'll be responsible for the operational infrastructure, data intelligence, campaign execution, reporting and performance analytics that support demand generation and pipeline growth.

Reporting to the Growth Manager and working closely with Business Development, SDRs, Sales Operations and leadership teams, the role combines data-driven insight with hands-on execution to identify target markets, optimise campaigns, improve lead quality, and provide visibility of commercial performance across the growth funnel.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Intelligence & Campaign Planning

  • Partner with the Growth Manager to define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), target accounts, buyer personas, and campaign priorities.
  • Analyse CRM, sales, campaign, market, customer, and prospect data to identify growth opportunities and target segments.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools, intent platforms, third-party data providers, and external APIs to identify buying signals, enrich account intelligence, and enhance lead scoring.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations on audience selection, campaign themes, messaging, channel strategy, and account prioritisation.
  • Support the design and execution of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programmes and targeted growth campaigns.

Data Management & Audience Development

  • Own prospect identification, data mining, enrichment, segmentation, and audience management activities.
  • Build and maintain target account and contact databases aligned to ICP and commercial priorities.
  • Manage tagging frameworks, account classifications, campaign attribution structures, and lead scoring models.
  • Ensure marketing data is accurate, compliant, campaign-ready, and aligned with sales targeting objectives.

Campaign Operations & Marketing Execution

  • Build, execute, and optimise multi-channel campaign data across email, LinkedIn, ABM, webinars, content syndication, and digital channels.
  • Create and execute email marketing and nurture programmes using Salesforce, Pardot, Outreach, or equivalent platforms.
  • Upload, cleanse, segment, and maintain campaign data and target lists.
  • Support product launches, strategic initiatives, partnerships, and lead generation programmes.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution.

CRM, Reporting & Dashboard Management

  • Act as the Growth team's Salesforce super-user and primary liaison with the central Sales Operations team.
  • Manage campaign setup, campaign tracking, attribution, tagging, and reporting within Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards covering campaign performance, lead generation, marketing contribution, pipeline influence, and funnel conversion.
  • Produce executive-level reporting, insights, and performance analysis for SLT and commercial leadership.
  • Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities through data analysis and reporting.

Business Development & SDR Enablement

  • Work closely with Business Development and SDR teams to support prospecting and account engagement activities.
  • Track BD and SDR activity, engagement, outreach effectiveness, and conversion performance.
  • Monitor target account progression through the sales funnel and identify opportunities to improve conversion.
  • Manage suppression rules to ensure campaign audiences exclude existing customers, active opportunities, and in-flight sales activity.
  • Provide actionable insights that help prioritise accounts, optimise outreach, and improve campaign effectiveness.

Events & Lead Management

  • Own the operational delivery of pre-event and post-event lead generation activities.
  • Build delegate recruitment campaigns and target attendee lists for conferences, webinars, roundtables, and industry events.
  • Manage registration tracking, attendee engagement reporting, lead capture, lead reconciliation, segmentation, and routing.
  • Execute post-event follow-up campaigns and nurture programmes.
  • Measure lead quality, engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution resulting from event activity.

Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track campaign, channel, SDR, BD, and event performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Monitor marketing contribution to pipeline creation and growth objectives.
  • Deliver recommendations based on performance data and market intelligence.
  • Drive continuous improvement across targeting, reporting, campaign execution, lead management, and operational processes.

Experience & Skills
  • Experience in Growth Operations, Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Revenue Operations, or a similar commercial operations role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Outreach, HubSpot, or equivalent CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and executive-level performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in segmentation, lead scoring, campaign attribution, and funnel reporting.
  • Experience using AI tools, intent data platforms, enrichment technologies, and third-party data sources to support growth initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively across Growth, Sales, SDR, BD, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Success Measures
  • Growth in qualified leads and target account engagement.
  • Campaign effectiveness and marketing contribution to pipeline.
  • Accuracy and quality of marketing data, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Improvement in lead scoring, segmentation, and audience targeting.
  • Event lead conversion and follow-up effectiveness.
  • Visibility and accountability of BD, SDR, and campaign performance.
  • Delivery of actionable insights that support commercial growth and decision-making.
