We're looking for a creative, commercially-driven Growth Marketing Manager to expand and delight our consumer customer base – Personal Savings. 

You'll be responsible for managing the complete customer life cycle: go-to-market activities, acquisition and conversion, activation, cross-sell, up-sell, retention, and engagement. 
Collaborating closely with Product, Finance, Commercial and with support of a fully-fledged Marketing team, you'll bring innovative growth initiatives to life and build commercial data-driven reports to determine their success.  

From email, SEO, paid and programmatic, to partnerships and affiliates, you'll be given complete ownership and autonomy to activate omnichannel campaigns across the entire funnel and customer journey. Working within the Personal Savings leadership team, you will be pivotal to design the unit growth strategy. Your role will include proactively working with your stakeholders and broader team to determine what success is and how to reach it, within set budgets and timeframes.  

As an ideal candidate, you'll be execution-focused, analytical, and imaginative, wanting to break down the barriers between entrepreneurs, savers, and their bank. You'll be adept at using marketing technology for automation, optimisation, and analytics, and are constantly bringing in new tech and approaches that will propel our growth and best support customer outcomes.  

What will I be responsible for?

  • Identifying and implementing omnichannel growth marketing campaigns, with a focus on email, content (including SEO), social media, affiliates, partnerships,and paid advertising 
  • Supporting go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches across the UK and wider  
  • Introducing and testing new acquisition channelsbased on audience personas, demographics, product value propositions, and buyer-cycles 
  • Pairing up with digital marketing teamand copywriters to activate paid and organic digital channels to acquire new customers 
  • Improving customer retention and increase the lifetime value of customers, by delivering high quality campaigns that drive long term relationship and share of wallet 
  • Providing real-life customer, competitor and market data and insights to our web, brand and product teams, to run A/B tests to improve conversion rates  
  • Creating and briefing copywriters, designers and developers to create new campaign landing pages, whitepapers, and website improvements that deliver a better experience for customers and new prospects  
  • Curating performance reports for the leadership team that show the results of growth marketing initiatives and product performance and provide recommendations on improvements and new strategies 
  • Forging strong working relationships with our sales team and closing the feedback loop between top and bottom of the funnel so we can increase marketing-driven sales qualified leads 

What do I need to excel in this role?

  • 5+ years' experience as either a Growth Marketing Manager or a more generalist marketing customer acquisition role – working for a high-growth fintech or startup company is preferred but not essential 
  • A strong commercial and growth mindset – every marketer loves a cool campaign, (we do too!), but we are driven by the ones that deliver value to customers  
  • Good short-copywriting skills and a creative mindset 
  • Experience creating compelling multichannel campaigns and content that can be A/B tested      
  • A determined, hands-on, can-do attitude. You will lead and inspire others while also executing your own strategy   
  • Strong experience using different marketing automation platforms   
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing is ideal  
  • Excellent project management and organisation skills
