The Marketing team at TransferGo is a dynamic and collaborative group, dedicated to driving growth and making financial services more accessible to migrants worldwide. With a mix of data-driven strategies and creative innovation, the team works across diverse markets to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with our customers. Currently, the team is focused on expanding our presence in Central Asia and Caucasus by refining localized marketing strategies, building brand trust, and increasing customer base through innovative campaigns. We're now looking for a talented Growth Marketing Manager to develop our growth strategy. This role is essential to bring market expertise, ensure localized efforts align with customer needs, and drive growth in this key region.

Here's what you'll be doing as Growth Marketing Manager:

  • Providing expertise on the Central Asian market and money transfers to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan, directing the wider team on the right pricing, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Building an aggressive marketing strategy that combines the most effective channels to grow our customer base with the acquisition of new customer, collaborating with our Performance and Organic teams
  • Introducing new, creative, and localized way to drive retention and win back of churned customers 
  • Making data-driven decisions to prioritize between opportunities and ensure our marketing plan, resource and budget directly aligns with the greatest growth potential
  • Leading key PR activity in the region to strengthen our brand and contribute to customer growth
  • Partnering with influencers and endorsers that drive relevant traffic that converts
  • Conducting various research pieces on Central Asian communities abroad – money transfer habits, consumer behaviour, brand awareness, competitor analysis and more
  • Providing feedback on copy and design to ensure it is relevant to our target customers
  • Driving forward a content marketing strategy that aligns with the interests of Central Asian migrants
  • Collaborating with colleagues from across the marketing team and other functions (product, operations, banking infrastructure, finance and more) to provide local expertise and sharing knowledge
  • Managing budget
  • Tracking effectiveness of campaigns and always optimising them to improve performance 
  • Representing TransferGo at community events, and on social media and forums

You'll report to our Regional Growth Manager.

Here's what we'd love from our new Growth Marketing Manager:

  • 3+ years of experience running successful online and offline consumer branding campaigns for a high-growth business or within an agency
  • Excellent verbal, written & listening skills in Russian language 
  • High level English for daily communication with the team and colleagues
  • Native Tadjik or Kyrgyz or Uzbek or Kazakh language. If you know other languages too, even better!
  • Experience with online marketing including SEM, SEO, SMM, content marketing, performance marketing, CMS, Google Analytics, CRM
  • A high level of data literacy
  • The ability to work on 'big picture' things as well as day-to-day tactical stuff – all the while being results-driven and suited to a fast-paced, resilient startup environment
  • Hands-on experience launching, managing and optimising campaigns that build awareness and trust, to deliver exceptionally efficient growth and ROI across digital and offline channels
  • Insightful knowledge of Central Asian consumers and their habits, and strong networking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team: a friendly, empathic and solution-oriented person
  • Ability to multi-task, strong attention to details
