We’re seeking a self-starting, creative, and data-driven Performance Marketing Manager to help turbocharge Turo’s growth in the UK. This is a hands-on role where you'll have full ownership of our paid acquisition channels while getting deep into the metrics that matter: conversion rates, CPA, ROAS, LTV, and repeat bookings. 

The ideal candidate has a keen eye for creative execution, loves experimentation, and is comfortable with numbers and data. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an eager marketer to make an immediate impact from day one. 

What you'll do
  • Plan and execute paid user acquisition campaigns across a diverse channel portfolio, including paid search, paid social, OTAs, affiliates & influencers. 

  • Be hands-on daily, managing and fine-tuning campaigns, testing optimal bidding strategies, exploring growth opportunities, and optimizing performance to meet KPIs such as CAC, CPA, ROAS, ROI, LTV, and payback period.

  • Monitor and report on conversion rates across the funnel to improve performance at critical stages.

  • Work cross-functionally with our local and global content and design teams to deliver exceptional content marketing campaigns that help tell the Turo story and drive brand awareness.

  • Conduct regular testing to identify best-performing content, creative, copy, and landing pages to maximize acquisition efforts.

  • Utilize web analytics and attribution platforms to measure and lift performance.

Your Profile
  • 4+ years of experience in full-funnel growth marketing, acquisition marketing or a similar role, ideally for an early-stage tech company.

  • Deep hands-on experience running paid ad programs at scale, including SEM and social ads.

  • Experience with self-serve ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.) and third-party analytics platforms (GA4, etc.)

  • You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and curious about testing new channels.

  • Experience with A/B testing and optimisation.

  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn web/marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Looker, DOMO).

  • Excellent analytical skills; comfortable with spreadsheets. Analysing data and building your own performance marketing reports.

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills. 

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Bonus If You Have:
  • High-growth startup experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency in SQL.

  • App marketing experience. 

  • Experience scaling marketing programs in the travel industry. 

  • Experience & understanding of tech-enabled marketplaces. 

  • Relevant experience managing a 7-digit annual advertising budget, and efficiently allocating it across campaigns to maximize profitability.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (business/marketing).

For this role, the target base salary range in London is £55,000 - £69,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
