We’re seeking a self-starting, creative, and data-driven individual for the role of Marketing Specialist for Turo UK. This is a performance-focused marketing position, where you’ll play a pivotal part in growing our customer base in the UK by leading paid acquisition efforts, while also contributing to brand, engagement, and creative initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a keen eye for creative execution, loves experimentation, and is comfortable with numbers and data. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an eager marketer to make an immediate impact from day one.

What you'll do
  • Plan and execute paid user acquisition campaigns across a diverse channel portfolio, including paid social and OTAs, affiliates & influencers.

  • Work cross-functionally with our local and global content and design teams to deliver exceptional content marketing campaigns that help tell the Turo story and drive brand awareness.

  • Conduct regular testing to identify best-performing content, creative, copy, and landing pages to maximize acquisition efforts.

  • Work closely with our PR agency to lead always-on media relations, including creating holistic communications plans, drafting media documents, managing press outreach, coordinating press events and interviews, overseeing PR and social media tracking, and building media and influencer lists.

  • Utilise web analytics and attribution platforms to measure and lift performance.

Your Profile
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally for an early-stage tech company

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (business/marketing)

  • A builder mentality: You act like an owner, roll your sleeves up, have a bias towards action, and build with passion.

  • Experimental: You have an inherent desire for experimentation, testing, and learning across all activities to drive world-class performance.

  • Creative: You have excellent creativity, a sense of visual design, and the ability to produce compelling copy, with great attention to detail.

  • Data-driven: You understand how to evaluate the performance of campaigns, and you’re comfortable with conducting data analyses and using metrics to drive business results.

  • Highly collaborative: You should work well with others in how you seek challenges and implement solutions.

  • Thrives in a dynamic startup environment: You’ll have guidance when you need it, but you’re also goal-oriented and can execute without close supervision.

  • Experience with self-serve ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) and third-party analytics platforms (GA4, etc.)

  • You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and curious about testing new channels.

  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization

  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn web/marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Looker)

  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

For this role, the target base salary range in London is £55,000 - £69,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
