The Role

Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, you'll bring Geordie's content strategy to life with fresh ideas and creative execution.

You'll create content for our company social channels, lead influencer engagement, ghostwrite founder social posts and support employee posts, coordinating publishing wherever needed to amplify Geordie's social presence and reputation as one of Europe's fastest-growing AI companies.

You'll also film and edit short social clips and other video content, track what resonates with our audience, and support wider marketing activities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into engaging marketing. You'll work closely with the Head of Growth Marketing and the wider team, with plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape how Geordie shows up in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Create social content: Develop engaging content for Geordie's company social channels, bringing our product, team and perspective on AI to life.

  • Support founder-led content: Ghostwrite social posts for our founders, helping communicate their ideas, insights and perspectives on the AI industry.

  • Coordinate employee advocacy: Help employees share content and ideas, making it easy for the wider team to contribute to Geordie's online presence.

  • Lead influencer engagement: Identify relevant creators and industry voices, build relationships and coordinate opportunities to collaborate.

  • Film and edit video: Produce short-form social clips and other video content that makes Geordie's story engaging and accessible.

  • Manage publishing: Coordinate content across channels, keeping publishing organised and ensuring content goes out consistently.

  • Track performance: Monitor engagement and identify which topics, formats and ideas resonate with our audience, using those insights to improve future content.

  • Support wider marketing: Get involved in broader marketing activities and help the team execute campaigns and initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong content instinct: You understand what makes content interesting, engaging and worth sharing.

  • Excellent writing skills: You're able to write clearly and creatively, adapting your tone for company channels, founders and employees.

  • Creative execution: You enjoy coming up with ideas but, more importantly, can turn them into content that gets published.

  • Video skills: You're comfortable filming and editing short-form video content for social media.

  • Social media awareness: You understand how social platforms work and keep up with emerging formats, trends and creators.

  • Relationship-building skills: You're confident reaching out to influencers and coordinating with people across the business.

  • Organisation: You're able to manage multiple pieces of content and keep publishing on track.

  • A data-informed mindset: You pay attention to performance and use what you learn to improve your work.

  • Proactivity: You take ownership, bring fresh ideas and don't need to be told about every opportunity worth exploring.

LOVE WHAT YOU DO

An interest in AI and emerging technology would be particularly useful. You don't need to be an AI expert, but you should be curious about the space and excited by the opportunity to help tell the story of a company working at its forefront.
