What we are looking for

A Growth Enablement Associate who wants to turn sales support experience into a role that shapes how a fast-growing sustainability consultancy wins work.

About us

Here at Seismic we have a two-part vision: to help 10 million people join the shift by 2030 and to be the best place we have ever worked.

We know that’s an ambitious vision. That means challenging ourselves and our clients every day, striving for growth, and delivering real impact. You can see more about our mission in our CEO’s TEDx talk, “The purpose of profit: the business of securing a sustainable future.”

We foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support, ensuring every changemaker feels empowered to grow and contribute their best.

We are not just talking about change; we are actively driving it. We deliver impact for our clients and ourselves, proud of our B Corp and EcoVadis accreditations as well as our SBTi commitment. We are at the cutting edge of quantifying how sustainability drives business value, and we help our clients to realise that value through a retained offering where we deliver impact while embedding sustainability capability across their businesses.

Our work spans strategy and value creation, measurement and reporting, supply chain transparency and resilience, culture and employee engagement, sustainability communications and supporting clients achieve key accreditations.

Our clients include fast-growing SMEs to global corporations, predominantly in the consumer goods space, with notable experience in Food&Drink. Our client roster includes brands such as Tony’s Chocolonely, Innocent Drinks, Pip&Nut, Crosta Mollica, DASH, as well as businesses spanning the entire consumer goods value chain.

We hire best in class people, and we invest in leading AI capability. We work hard to foster a high performance culture, working as a team to achieve our shared vision. All that’s missing is you.

The role and its responsibilities

We're looking for a Growth Enablement Executive to join the Growth team. You'll report to our Growth Enablement Lead and work closely with our sales team and senior leadership, particularly the Chief Growth Officer, playing a central part in how Seismic grows.

You'll be the link between our sales team and the systems and processes that support them. You'll turn client needs into clear proposals, keep our pipeline data clean and valuable, and help every opportunity move forward without friction. Along the way you'll get to know our full range of services, from strategy and value creation, through reporting and disclosure, carbon measurement and reduction, sustainability communications and key sustainability frameworks such as B Corp and EcoVadis.

We're a young business and we change quickly, which means there's plenty of room to shape how things are done. You'll be encouraged to question our ways of working and redesign them, and you'll get involved in special projects such as building new systems, developing dashboards and contributing to strategic thinking with leadership.

Key responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Proposal Development: Taking briefs from the sales team and turning them into tailored proposals and slides, then refining them together until they communicate true value to our clients.

  • Sales Coordination: Keeping deals on track by organising meetings, following up on actions and making sure momentum is maintained to close.

  • Inbound & Lead Qualification: Qualifying and allocating inbound leads so they reach the right person quickly, with the chance to pick up the phone to new leads and prospects for a first conversation.

  • CRM & Data: Making HubSpot our single source of truth, keeping dashboards up to date, capturing and analysing data, and bringing insight to our weekly sales meetings.

  • Process & Tools: Improving how we work across the sales cycle, from proposal templates and HubSpot workflows to AI tools and the handover to our delivery teams, and helping the team adapt as the business evolves.

  • Client Contact: Joining client conversations from time to time, with the option to take on more as you grow.

A typical week
No two weeks are the same, but you can expect to:

  • Work on several proposals at once, drafting and refining them with the sales team.

  • Join the weekly sales meeting and share what the pipeline data is telling us.

  • Pick up requests from the senior leadership team.

  • Schedule meetings & follow-ups and keep CRM records updated for the sales team.

  • Set aside time to improve a process or system, test a new tool or push a special project forward.

This role is a starting point. As you grow, we'll support you in shaping it around your interests and the needs of the business, whether that's moving towards sales and business development, leaning into our Go To Market, building out our automation and AI capability, or spending more time in front of clients.

About you

You believe that humanity and businesses need to make a seismic shift in the right direction, and you want to apply your commercial and organisational skills to help make that happen. You enjoy a mix of work, splitting your time between people and conversations and focused time in documents and data. You'll especially enjoy working at Seismic if you like variety and change, and see an evolving business as a chance to make your mark.

To be successful in this role you would need the following attributes:

  • Proven Track Record: 1+ years' experience in sales or business development support, operations, project coordination or a sustainability role.

  • Sustainability Knowledge: A working understanding of sustainability, enough to follow and shape the content of proposals across our services.

  • Commercial Mindset: You think commercially. You can spot what a client really needs, see where the opportunity is and help shape a proposal that wins.

  • AI Confidence: You use AI tools every day and are always looking for new ways to apply them.

  • Technical Proficiency: Confident with Google Workspace and CRM systems.

  • Structured Writing: The ability to turn a brief or rough notes into clear, well-structured documents and slides.

  • Attention to Detail: You take pride in getting the details right, from polished slide decks to CRM records.

  • Organisation: You stay calm and organised when several deadlines land at once and priorities shift.

  • Confidence with Prospects: You're comfortable picking up the phone to leads and prospects, and you'd welcome the chance to do more of it.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with HubSpot.

  • Built automations or AI workflows before.

  • Used Looker or other reporting tools.

  • Worked in consultancy or professional services.

Importantly, you love the intersection of commercial success and positive impact, and working with teammates to build something great. You take ownership of your work, you're happy to challenge ideas when you see a better way, and you bring energy to the team. You enjoy the detail that keeps deals moving as much as the bigger projects, you have a real hunger to get closer to sales, and you're at your best when things move quickly. You like a laugh but are not afraid to graft.

In your 100 days you will:

  • Be paired with a dedicated manager and mentor to accelerate your integration and professional development.

  • Go through our onboarding programme with training across all our sustainability services.

  • Join our fortnightly Personal Growth sessions and Friday lunch-and-learns.

  • Actively contribute to commercial projects, initially shadowing and then taking on increasing levels of responsibility within the sales cycle.

  • Take on your first improvement project, identifying one part of how we work that could run better and making the change happen.

Location

You will be within commuting distance of our London office (Waterloo), attending the office at least 2 days per week.

Working hours

We believe in flexible working hours to better suit our personal lives while being considerate of each other and our clients. We generally work office hours but trust each other to make fair decisions. We are also open to discussing part-time work arrangements.

Salary and benefits

We invest in our changemakers’ growth and well-being. Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your professional development, personal life, and overall health. In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include:

  • 25 days annual leave per year pro-rata (plus your birthday off!).

  • The option to swap up to two Bank Holidays per year.

  • £500 per year professional development budget plus two days per year PD time.

  • £200 per year wellbeing budget and £200 home office setup budget.

  • Employee Assistance Programme and Bupa health insurance.

  • Cycle to Work scheme and Financial coaching (Bippit).
