 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Own design across a large product space, with multiple interaction elements with end customers
  • Leads design initiatives independently with minimal direction
  • Pushes for the latest in design trends, is an advocate of the customer, rallies stakeholders with their thought, and executes in conjunction with product heads and other designers
  • Submit product wireframe and adapt to requirement changes
  • Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to clients and p management
  • Create surveys for research through various media platforms to gather feedback on user’s ease of use and satisfaction interfacing on company websites and products
  • Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product
  • Enhance the user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company
  • Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards

 

OTHER

  • Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • BS/MS degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • 8-12 experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role
  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your process for creating great user-centered design solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple organizations and drive alignment
  • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced environment, working on ambiguous and challenging projects
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations
  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly or remotely with developers for implementation of customer experiences
  • Experience with best practices for information architecture and design, as well as experience with usability principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in a variety of design tools (eg. Sketch, InVision, Framer JS, Flinto, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Zeplin)
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
