Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Group Regulatory Compliance Operations Manager  with exceptional technical expertise and prior project management experience. Experience in Compliance (Regulatory or Financial Crime) or Legal fields will be an added advantage, but not required. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the effective planning, monitoring, and execution of the team’s initiatives.

You will provide support to the Group Regulatory Compliance team on a wide range of projects and manage our processes. Based in London, you will work with team members located in Singapore and NorthAm and occasionally, with compliance officers across the globe.

Your mission:

  • Manage the Group Regulatory project plan for a multi-jurisdictional obligations mapping initiative. Coordinate feedback with stakeholders in Compliance and Risk across four Tier 1 regional teams and design effective methods to record progress, communicate Group Regulatory updates and track timelines and deliverables for compliance officers.
  • Develop and maintain the team’s confluence space so it accurately reflects the team’s profile, project ownership and key project details needed to facilitate cross-team transparency. Ensure team documentation remains adequate and up-to-date and be responsible for the dissemination of information to the broader compliance team and leads.
  • Own the team’s ways of working, which includes managing the team’s day-to-day project management tool (e.g. Jira), standing meetings and coordinating quarterly planning and other meetings focused on alignment and strategic goal-setting.
  • Organise Group Regulatory workshops, training and presentations for the wider compliance team. You will work with the team to identify attendees, handle scheduling, prepare slides and analyse data.
  • Enhance group-level records and licence registers by ensuring they accurately reflect the regulatory position for each of our licensed entities as we expand into new markets and maintain our documentation in a user friendly format for wider teams.
  • Organise retrospective sessions with regional compliance teams to gather feedback and learnings that can be used to improve group processes.
  • Support on reporting and data-gathering to various 2LOD governance forums, and committees which require Group Compliance input.
  • Drive projects based on the function’s emerging needs, and participate in implementing change efficiently
  • Adapt your focus on different operational issues depending on growth plans and compliance needs.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Champion a data-driven approach to project management, simplifying complex information and streamlining procedures that can create bottlenecks.

  • Help build best practice and embed valuable processes across our team in a meaningful way.

  • Take on and own new challenges that arise in any area of the team on a project basis.

  • Inspire and influence stakeholders with clear communication, innovative problem-solving, and a passion for creating a culture of accountability.

  • Drive continuous improvement by consolidating data, tracking metrics, and reporting insights that sharpen compliance performance and business resilience.

A bit about you:
