This role will focus on on creating a platform for delivering world class administrative capabilities to global enterprises, partnering across Atlassian to bring a range of capabilities into an extensible platform. We are embarking on a multi-year journey to platformize Atlassian Administration and its upstream services, and we're looking for someone to lead it.
As a Group Product Manager in Global Experiences Platform, you'll own the strategy and execution for this key initiative. You will operate as an expert, with deep subject matter experience, while developing and mentoring a team of talented product managers.
What you'll do
- Develop product strategy across multiple teams on a multi-year time horizon considering technical execution, GTM tactics, and business upside.
- Align partner teams and senior leaders with your product strategy, while incorporating feedback and ultimately driving partner team commitment to your roadmap.
- Coach and mentor product managers to build their skills in systems thinking, strategic decision-making, and effective communication.
- Prioritize for the fastest path to high impact balancing the needs of our users with those of the business and clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions.
- You embody the art and science of product management within the Global Experience team by setting the bar for "what good looks like."
On your first day, we'll expect that you have:
- 10+ years in product management, with 4+ years managing and mentoring product managers.
- Strong recent experience in building developer platforms, preferably for first and second party developer integration, and driving platform adoption across an organization
- Experience developing a multi-year strategy and roadmap, gaining buy-in to executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team.
- Success in developing, mentoring and growing other Product Managers
- True customer obsession - you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems.
- A track record of building relationships, influencing, and inspiring all levels of the organization whether it's your team, peers, or executives.
- Experience building a compelling business case for new opportunities.
Typically, product managers at this level at Atlassian have:
- Computer science or a related technical degree
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $190,400 - $253,800
Zone B: $171,300 - $228,400
Zone C: $158,000 - $210,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
