What is Flagstone?

Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture:

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

Does this sound like you?

A passionate Group Product Manager who has a wealth of experience within payments. You put customers at the fore front of your decisions and are outcome focused.

What you’ll do:

This role will play a key part in transforming the way Flagstone interacts with our banking partners, setting our operations team up for success and putting a core focus on our users.

  • Be customer focused, building a deep understanding of our users and articulating the impact of the ‘bets’ we will take to drive the business forward.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across UX, Tech, Operations, Brand and Banking to define the product roadmap for your tribe, prioritizing features to maximise the experience of our clients and business.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deliver first in class solutions – translating needs and requirements into real world products
  • Work as part of an agile sprint team to deliver value early and often.
  • Manage the product backlog to establish clear priorities and focus for the sprint team, as well as holding others to account in demonstrating best practices in product management.
  • Drive improvements to how we successfully build better products at scale, leading by example in product operations across the function.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and own a clear product strategy for your tribe, to achieve clearly defined goals and enable the organisation to grow at scale

What you’ll bring

  • An expertise in payments and reconciliations within a banking environment
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team working with a variety of internal & external stakeholders, up to a senior management & C-suite level
  • Strong understanding of the agile product development lifecycle including product strategy development, user story writing, requirements definition, backlog prioritisation, QA, release and iteration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a pro-active attitude to learning in a new and upcoming space
  • Strong analytical skills to translate feedback and analysis into actionable opportunities
  • A user centred mindset, anticipating client needs, finding simple solutions to complex problems
  • Strategic drive and ability to communication a vision that drives high level focus across the team handling multiple priorities.

At Flagstone, we’re assembling a diverse team that defies our industry’s norms. Think this role could suit you? We encourage you to apply, no matter your background.
