About the requirement

We are looking for a Group Manager, Audit to join our Boldyn Networks team. The position is responsible for the implementation of a strong control environment, through the conduct of targeted and value add risk-based audits; minimise operational, financial, information security and compliance risks within business processes, by reviewing the controls in place are both appropriate and adequate and to make recommendations for improvement where required.  

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Boldyn Networks team, the position will:

Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit in the business to maturity, including: 

  • Preparation of the annual audit plan, ensuring an adequate and efficient plan is put in place to meet the needs of the Group with sufficient coverage  
  • Independently conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.
  • Provide assurance on departmental, process and/or system controls and make recommendations for improvements or mitigations for identified risks where appropriate 
  • Conduct exit meeting with all key stakeholders to discuss findings, recommendations & verify or capture management responses  
  • Develop audit report with agreed management actions for each finding identified  
  • Track agreed management actions through to completion in line with agreed timing  
  • Maintain and regularly review internal audit policy and scope/report templates  

Draft/prepare internal audit updates for the quarterly Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) collaborating across the business and with senior board members.

  • Tertiary qualification  
  • CA, IIA, ISACA or equivalent post graduate qualification, ISMS 
  • 3+ years internal/external audit experience 
  • Demonstrated understanding of internal auditing standards/principles  
  • Advanced decision making and problem-solving skills
