Job Description
VVB Engineering provide mechanical and electrical installation services across the UK, operating in a number of different sectors including Rail and Airports.
We are currently recruiting for a Group Management Accountant to assist in the delivery of timely and accurate financial information. This key position in the finance department will give exposure to all functions within finance couple with coaching from the finance leadership team, we will support you to reach fully qualified status with development opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Position of month end journals
- Production of the management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT, CIS and CITB return submissions
- Production of accurate cash flows
- Assist with the annual year-end audit
- Assist with the production of year-end statutory accounts
- Improvement of existing processes and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Strong Excel skills and adept with other MS Office programmes
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA), with final papers approaching
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to spot opportunities to improve processes
- Two years experience within a finance function
