Job Description

Location: Holborn, London (with some international travel)

Hybrid: 3 days in office

Sustainability at Valeo isn’t a side agenda, it’s a core part of how we operate and grow.

We’re looking for a Group Climate Sustainability Manager to help drive that forward. This is a role with real scope, sitting at Group level and working across multiple sites and markets.

You’ll be at the centre of our climate and environmental agenda, focusing on practical, measurable change across energy, water, waste and carbon.

This role is about turning ambition into delivery.

You’ll work closely with our manufacturing sites to identify and deliver initiatives that reduce carbon, improve efficiency, and make a real difference on the ground; from energy and water use through to waste and packaging.

A big part of the role is also about connecting the dots at Group level; setting targets, tracking performance, and making sure we’re aligned with both business priorities and external frameworks.

In practice, that means you’ll:

  • Lead and support decarbonisation and efficiency projects across our sites, including Capex programmes
  • Drive the adoption of renewable energy solutions, including PPAs where relevant
  • Work with Procurement and suppliers to reduce Scope 3 emissions and improve packaging sustainability
  • Ensure our sustainability approach is embedded into new acquisitions
  • Shape and evolve our climate targets and delivery plans year on year
  • Partner with Finance to measure impact
  • Own and coordinate Group reporting, including ESRS, TCFD, EcoVadis and our Sustainability Report

Qualifications

You’ll likely bring a mix of technical understanding and real-world delivery experience.

  • A background in engineering, operations, sustainability, or a related field
  • Experience working in manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • A track record of delivering environmental or continuous improvement projects across multiple sites
  • Strong organisation and stakeholder management skills (you’re comfortable working across functions and geographies)
  • A practical, results-focused mindset

Additional Information

If you’re someone who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, sustainability and business performance  , and you want a role where you can see the impact of what you’re doing, this is a great opportunity to step in and make a difference.
