The Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP) is responsible for attracting, sourcing and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets based around volume, shape & diversity and in delivering an excellent candidate experience
In an ever increasingly visual world, we’re looking for a talented graphic designer to help us share our story visually across both our digital and printed content in a way that engages, informs, and inspires.
We are looking for someone who is skilled in each step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders you should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. You will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
This is a home based role, with travel as and when required, to various sites across the UK.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Showcasing The British Army’s offer by creating designs aligned with branding and voice.
  • Taking design briefs, planning and illustrating concepts for publication
  • Working with creative agencies to understand direction of travel with the ability to adapt and evolve campaign assets where applicable
  • Researching and understanding target audience
  • Taking feedback and making necessary adjustments to design work
  • Developing illustrations, logos, and other visual designs
  • Working with content team to produce final designs
  • Supporting the design and delivery of key client meetings with exceptional PowerPoint presentations

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a graphic design role with a passion for creating great content
  • A keen interest in photography and videography
  • A minimum of a BTEC Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Graphic Design
  • Experience of working in an in-house marketing department
  • Experience in delivering creative ideas and following through to content creation.
  • Proficiency with Adobe’s suite of products including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Illustrator
  • Strong PowerPoint knowledge
  • Experience of editing for social media
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
