The purpose of this role is to be interested in the full spectrum of design with a growing knowledge of where aesthetic look-and-feel overlaps with behavioral user experience. We work with major sports and events rights holders, brand sponsors, teams, leagues, venues, and talent to create unique sponsorship marketing platforms, content, experiences, and brand activations that engage fans and drive business and brand outcomes. We are now looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative team and help bring these ideas to life. 

Are you passionate about creating engaging, innovative, and high-impact design? Do you thrive on producing memorable content that captures attention and delivers results? In this role, your creativity will be seen nationwide as you work with some of the world’s biggest brands - including Visa, Chemist Warehouse, Cadbury, Great Southern Bank, TAC, Cricket Australia, and the AFL. 

Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract. 

What your typical day will look like: 

As a Graphic Designer, your primary role is to develop and deliver compelling creative concepts that drive success in new business pitches and strengthen our partnerships.  

You will work across a diverse range of design outputs including : 
Campaign Creative – concept development, key visuals  
Presentation Design – pitch decks, proposals, credentials documents 
Print & Digital  – posters, flyers, brochures, OOH billboards web banners 
Stadium Creative – LED signage, big screen, half time activations 
Experiential & Event Design – signage, wayfinding, activations 
Social Media Content – static posts, carousels, stories, reels, paid ads 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Design Work – Ideate, create and build quality and creative content 

  • Creative Systems – Efficient and effective project delivery ensuring we executive within agreed scopes and timelines, whilst adhering to agency standards and brand guidelines. 

  • Teamwork – Be a creative voice within MKTG, promoting new ideas, creative development, and enthusiasm within the team. 

  • Stakeholder Management – Collaborate where required with internal stakeholders to establish clear communication, concise job briefs 

 

A bit about you: 

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience, preferably with a creative or marketing agency 

  • Proficient with the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop and After Effects) as well as Microsoft Office. 

  • Experience working with brands, and a knowledge of commercial design best practices. 

  • Experience with receiving, challenging, and executing creative briefs. 

  • Most importantly, a passion for the creative process from conception, ideation all the way through to delivery.
