We raise money and awareness of the biggest issues affecting society, harnessing the power and reach of Global’s radio brands including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, LBC, Radio X, Capital XTRA and Gold. To date, we've supported 480 UK charities, helping over 200,000 lives in communities right across the UK.

Your Role: Grants Executive

Are you a highly organised individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for making a difference?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Grants Executive with proven administrative experience to join our team and help manage a multi-million grants fund supporting small charities across the UK.

In this vital role, you’ll work directly with charities, ensuring the accurate delivery of grant-making while collaborating closely with the wider Global’s Make Some Noise team to create real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support (70%)

  • Support the grants team throughout the annual grants-giving cycle, including assessing applications, reviewing projects, inputting and managing data.

  • Assist with ad hoc projects throughout the year to improve grant processes and impact measurement.

  • Support financial processes as and when required

Communication (15%)

  • Manage the team email inbox, ensuring efficient and clear communication with internal teams and our charity partners.

  • Build strong relationships with small charities, becoming their first point of contact for grants-related queries.

Storytelling (15%)

  • Support the collation of content for the marketing team, including quotes, pictures, and case studies from funded charities.

  • Assist in sourcing participants and contributors for content across the charity and across Global brands as and when requested by the wider Global’s Make Some Noise team.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Think Big: Expand your knowledge of the charity sector while working within a fast-paced media and entertainment environment.

  • Own It: Ensure accurate and efficient data collection, inputting, and analysis to support impactful grant-making.

  • Keep It Simple: Join a passionate, collaborative, and supportive organisation that values efficiency and impact.

  • Better Together: Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference, supporting amazing causes and working with a variety of inspiring charities across the UK.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll...

  • Gain an understanding of Global’s Make Some Noise grants programme and funding cycle.

  • Build relationships with the Global’s Make Some Noise team and key stakeholders across Global.

  • Successfully manage daily and weekly administrative tasks, including Salesforce input and external charity data collection.

  • Develop your knowledge of our charities and funding portfolio, familiarising yourself with key projects and starting to support storytelling requests.

  • Settle into a supportive, passionate team, where you’ll be encouraged to grow and thrive.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong administrative and data management skills: Experience in administration or other relevant work. Systems management is desirable.

  • Excellent organisational skills and adaptability: Good time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A passion for working with charities. Great interpersonal skills, occasionally dealing with sensitive issues.

  • Excellent communication skills: Confident to work with a variety of stakeholders across charities and within Global.
