Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Assist in creating and running manual and automated test plans for user interfaces (UI) and APIs.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, estimate testing efforts, and help identify and resolve issues.
- Reporting & Analysis: Record and communicate test results, report bugs, and provide insights to improve our systems.
- Learning & Growth: Maintain regression test packs and stay up to date with testing best practices and tools.
Essential Skills
- Familiarity with or interest in manual and automation testing (experience with tools like Selenium WebDriver is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of coding or scripting languages such as C#, Java, or SQL.
- An understanding of HTML/CSS and how websites work across different browsers and operating systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning.
- Interest in Agile/Lean methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- An understanding of version control tools like Git.
- Awareness of software security basics (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps or similar tools.
- ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level qualification (or willingness to achieve this with our support).
