What will I be doing:

As a Graduate Technical Author you will work inside the R&D, Design and UX/UI Departments, familiarising yourself with the technology and establishing connections with the individual contributors responsible for these technologies. Also as a Technical Author you will create technical materials to support our customers, partners, and the wider Darktrace community.

This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week in our Cambridge headquarters.

Key responsibilities include assisting end users, drafting technical material for various audiences, and collaborating with translators for multi-language support. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Technical document writing, editing, and proofreading,
  • Curation of content and liaise with translators for multiple language support,
  • Documentation reviews and providing feedback.

What experience do I need:

We are looking for candidates with effective communication skills for complex ideas, and a sharp eye for detail. If you have a passion for detail, strong analysis skills, and a continual improvement mindset, we want to hear from you. Additionally you may have: 

  • Capacity to work with a range of different skill levels, from experienced engineers to junior end-users,
  • Experience writing technical documents or long-form academic material,
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
