Job Description

At Atlassian Williams F1 Team, our two-year Graduate Programme throws you into real motorsport from day one. Our rotational routes offer broad, cross-team exposure, or you can go deep as a subject-matter expert, specialising in one area. Expect live projects, a leadership speaker series, and wraparound support from our Early Careers team and your manager. The Software Development Group develops bespoke software and data pipelines to support our Engineering and Operations functions at Atlassian Williams F1 Team. We operate in sub-teams that focus on supporting key areas such as Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics and Vehicle Performance. Join our Software and Data Engineering Group to build and enhance bespoke technology solutions that support Engineering and Operations across Atlassian Williams F1 Team. Working in focused sub-teams aligned to areas such as Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, and Vehicle Performance, you’ll help turn data into decisions and innovation into speed. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, understand user needs, and deliver impactful tools that drive performance.

As a Graduate Software Engineer at Williams, you'll work alongside engineers and technical specialists to develop software solutions that support the design, development and performance of our race cars. You'll be involved in building and maintaining applications, tools and integrations that enable teams to analyse data, automate processes and make faster, more informed decisions.

Working across the full software development lifecycle, you'll collaborate closely with end users to understand requirements, develop high-quality solutions and continuously improve systems that play a vital role in supporting race performance and innovation across the business.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Studying a degree in Computer Science or a related field involving software development
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, Python, Rust or TypeScript
