Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Data Consultant to join our Data & AI practice. In this role, you will help organisations unlock value from their data by supporting the design, development and adoption of modern data solutions.

As a member of FSP's Data & AI division, you will contribute to projects using Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Power BI.

This is an ideal role for graduates who are passionate about data, enjoy solving complex problems and want to develop their career across a broad range of data disciplines.

You will have the opportunity to rotate across a range of specialisms within our Data capability, including:

  • Data Engineering
  • Data Analytics & Visualisation
  • Data Platforms
  • Data Products

The role offers exposure to a variety of projects and sectors, enabling the development of strong technical, analytical and consulting skills while supporting clients on their data transformation journeys.

Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates may need to undergo security clearance. To be eligible for many of our client projects, you should have lived in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of wider FSP project teams to deliver data solutions for clients.
  • Assist in understanding client requirements and translating them into data-driven solutions.
  • Support the collection, cleansing, transformation and analysis of data.
  • Contribute to the development of data pipelines, reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
  • Work alongside Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Support data products and platforms through testing, UAT and production deployment.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in data technologies and best practices.
  • Share knowledge as part of the FSP technical community.

About you

  • Studying towards or have completed a degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Possess strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Have a passion for data and technology.
  • Able to work with large datasets and identify meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Enjoy solving problems and working in a collaborative environment.
  • Possess an understanding of databases, data structures and data analysis principles.
  • Able to demonstrate foundational coding capability in Python, SQL or similar technologies.
