Department Overview
The Latin America Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all marketing programs and tactics across Latin America and the Caribbean to drive demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees all regional marketing strategy, development programs, and campaigns including digital, content generation, thought leadership initiatives, account-based marketing, customer experiences & events, and marketing analytics.
Job Description

This is a temporary position and will be hired through a fixed term contract for 7 months.

Motorola Solutions is looking for a field marketing professional to lead the marketing activities for the direct sales team in SOLA territory (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Peru).

The main responsibilities are:

  • Lead the marketing activities in the region assigned,  being responsible for the development and implementation of the direct sales marketing plan in the territory, aligned with the sales team’s priorities.

  • Work closely with the direct  sales team to generate an incremental sales pipeline for existing and new products and services

  • Manage and distribute the territory budget according to the plan 

  • Lead, develop, and follow up ABM (Account-based Marketing)  programs with main accounts.

  • Use demand generation tools, resources, and agencies for campaigns, programs, and reporting purposes

  • Work closely with the digital campaign team to create integral programs and demand generation campaigns aligned with new product launches, and sales needs

  • Adapt regional content for local use (as needed)

  • Develop customer case studies to promote portfolio benefits to customers with the support of the customer insights marketing team

  • Plan, develop and track events including trade shows, conferences, anniversaries, industry events, technology days, etc.

  • Study and understand legal/regulatory, economic, and any other environmental factor(s) affecting customers in the territory and/or influencing their purchasing decisions

  • Understand the competitive landscape locally & position Motorola Solutions to compete

  • Own the relationship with local vendors/associations/conferences

  • Elevate the most important/relevant info to be communicated to senior leadership

  • Look for commonalities in field marketing processes, activities, etc. leveraging best practices across territories

Basic Requirements
  •  Professional in Marketing or related fields with at least 4 years of B2B field marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry

  • Experience working with multiple countries preferred

  • Must be self-starting and self-driven and demonstrate problem-solving skills

  • Ability to drive strategic planning and tactical execution. 

  • Business and marketing plan development skills including the definition of objectives, tactics, time schedules, budgets, responsibilities, analytics, and measurements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)

  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time

  • You are metric-driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data

  • English Level: Advanced

  • A postgraduate degree or master's is a plus
