Location: one of our Ramboll offices in the UK

As a result of a reorganization in our Global Function, Rambøll is looking for a Head of Project Management who will manage our global workplace projects and pipeline in collaboration with colleagues, key stakeholders, and other enablement functions.

​Your new role 

​As our new Global Workplace Head of Project Management you´ll be responsible for delivery of global Workplace projects in accordance with governance and programme. This role drives project management excellence across the whole function. You can be based within any of Ramboll’s key geographies and have close collaboration with Country Leadership Teams, Global Finance, Global IT and the wider Workplace function. 

​As our new Head of Project Management, you will be leading a team of experienced and highly capable project managers. Implementing a consistent project methodology with a focus on continuous improvement. The role will involve project delivery both virtually and physically in a wide range of environments, with project relating to acquisition integrations, software platforms and Workplace delivery & experience. You will engage with senior stakeholder across multiple functions and business areas around the world to deliver best in class projects.

​Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • ​Complex and global project management – Develop and apply project management governance and management across large/small scale projects that are complex (e.g., office moves, return to office, internal programmes, global programmes, regional events, etc). 
  • ​Mange global project pipeline, tracking, reporting, management and ensure execution to deadlines. 
  • ​Partner with Design & Construction peers to seamlessly deliver new office spaces, expansions, re-stacks and moves 
  • ​Proactively identify business needs, gain alignment on objectives, scope, timing, and resources 
  • ​Leadership - Lead the PMO team and deliver the workplace projects across multiple office(s)/location(s) directly and indirectly inclusive of the office, internal and vendor team(s) - including suppliers
  • ​Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including workplace design, project management, and service delivery to ensure seamless execution of workplace projects 
  • ​Oversee complex projects that drive improvements to the employee’s workplace experience 
  • ​Lead integration of projects with other Ramboll functions such as HR and Tech 

​ ​About you​​ 

  • ​Leadership with high performing geographically dispersed teams 
  • ​Ability to hire and develop capable team members with relevant skills 
  • ​A bachelor's degree in relevant field 
  • ​At least 10 years’ relevant experience in facility management
  • ​Professional qualifications in Project Management 
  • ​Solid communication and interpersonal skills 
  • ​Exceptional managerial skills and the ability to lead a team 
  • ​Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and strong stakeholder management 
  • ​Excellent in both written and verbal communication, possessing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excellent English skills (an additional European language would be beneficial)
