The role of the Web & Digital Sales Enablement Manager entails leading web merchandising, Digital Sales initiatives, and eBusiness enablement for LCD within Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Successful candidates must have a wealth of experience in planning, strategizing, and running the day-to-day operations of web merchandising, CX initiatives, and eBusiness enablement. This role calls for outstanding analytical skills and the capability to navigate expertly within a sophisticated, technical environment.

In the position of Web & Digital Sales Enablement, you will be orchestrating the execution of web merchandising, customer experience (CX) crucial indicators, timelines, and interrelationships in collaboration with Strategic Marketing, Analytics, Digital Marketing, and the Corporate Digital Transformation teams. Furthermore, you will partner with the Corporate EDI Team to improve understanding and implementation in these fields.

The focal point of your role will be to guide the implementation of the digital marketing technology roadmap, concentrating on web merchandising, enriching customer experience, and facilitating eBusiness (including EDI). Your tasks will encompass supervising platforms like Adobe Target, Unica Campaign, Unica Interact, and Eloqua, in addition to leading all integration elements for forms, complex merchandising, product recommendations, and comprehensive customer journey improvement.

What will you do?

  • Develop readiness and scale across Digital Marketing, Strategic Marketing and Operation teams for planning, testing and performing multifaceted merchandising campaigns,
  • Collaborate with the Digital Commerce Team to develop automation digital capabilities,
  • Work closely with the Digital Commerce team to integrate expertise in data science, audience management, personalization, and automation for improving alignment and advancing capabilities and roadmaps.
  • Align overall Dynamic Merchandising, Email and Product Recommendations strategy with strategic focus Areas,
  • Drive and support the integration EDI and B2B activities, including external platforms
  • Work with the Operation team to provide meaningful analysis that supports in-flight campaign optimization and post-campaign reporting to internal and external partners

How you will get here

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience leading digital marketing initiatives, with a focus on merchandising and automation
  • Comprehensive understanding of data science and analytics platforms, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools
  • Experience planning and running data-driven campaigns and initiatives
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of EDI execution

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, motivated, able to work independently
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills; proven record to lead without direct authority
  • Capacity to work well across multiple functional areas
  • Proficient at problem-solving skills;
  • Understanding of financial drivers, profitability, revenue/GP
  • Sales knowledge, territory management, sales planning, prospecting skills
  • Presentation skills, integrity
