Position Overview
CoreWeave is seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Global Vice President of Marketplace Services to build and lead our worldwide Marketplace and Model Garden strategy and delivery. This senior executive will serve as a key member of the CoreWeave leadership team, responsible for creating, scaling, and leading both our software marketplace and AI model garden—establishing CoreWeave as the premier platform for third-party solutions and foundation models in the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
This is a foundational leadership role at a transformative moment for CoreWeave, as enterprises worldwide seek integrated solutions that combine specialized AI infrastructure with best-in-class software and models. The ideal candidate will build these businesses from the ground up, creating a thriving ecosystem of ISV partners, AI model providers, and enterprise customers who come together to accelerate Innovation. This role uniquely combines the commercial dynamics of a traditional cloud marketplace, with the strategic importance of a curated AI model catalog, positioning CoreWeave as The Essential Cloud for AI where infrastructure, software, models, and the AI ecosystem converge.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational technical and business leader with deep expertise in platform ecosystems, marketplace economics, AI technologies, and partnership development. You will have a proven track record of building and scaling multi-sided platforms, driving significant revenue growth through partner ecosystems, and establishing strategic relationships with leading technology companies.
This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be instrumental in defining CoreWeave's platform strategy, building world-class partner and ecosystem teams, establishing our marketplace and model garden as revenue drivers, and creating network effects that accelerate CoreWeave's overall growth.
Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute CoreWeave's global marketplace and model garden strategy, establishing CoreWeave as the essential platform for AI software solutions and foundation models
- Develop and articulate a compelling vision for how CoreWeave's marketplace will create value for ISV partners, model providers, and customers globally
- Built a comprehensive, next-generation, AI-native Marketplace Platform from the ground up
- Build comprehensive go-to-market strategies for both the software marketplace (SaaS, containers, AMIs, data products) and the model garden (foundation models, fine-tuning services, inference solutions)
- Partner with executive leadership to align marketplace initiatives with overall company strategy and growth objectives
- Serve as CoreWeave's primary marketplace evangelist, representing the company at industry events, partner summits, and with key ecosystem stakeholders
- Build and launch CoreWeave's software marketplace, enabling third-party ISVs to list, sell, and deliver solutions on CoreWeave infrastructure
- Establish marketplace business models, including revenue sharing, pricing structures, and billing integration
- Create partner onboarding programs, technical certification requirements, and go-to-market support
- Implement marketplace governance, including security vetting, compliance requirements, and quality standards
- Build and curate CoreWeave's AI model garden, partnering with leading foundation model providers, purpose-built model providers, and open source choices
- Negotiate strategic partnerships with model providers, establishing favorable commercial terms and technical integration
- Define model catalog strategy, including model selection criteria, deployment options, and customer access models
- Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class global marketplace organization, including partner development, marketplace operations, business development, and technical partner engineering teams
- Create scalable, repeatable processes for partner onboarding, solution validation, pricing strategies, and go-to-market execution
- Establish key performance metrics for marketplace growth, partner success, and revenue contribution
- Identify M&A opportunities for strategic marketplace capabilities or acquisitions
Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in technology and business leadership, with at least 10 years focused on marketplace, platform ecosystems, or partner development
- Demonstrable success building and scaling cloud marketplaces, app stores, or platform ecosystems
- Deep understanding of multi-sided platform economics, partner business models, and ecosystem dynamics
- Experience with AI technologies, foundation models, and the AI software ecosystem
- Intimate knowledge of ISV business models, go-to-market strategies, and partner enablement
- Track record of building teams from the ground up and scaling organizations in high-growth environments
- Experience driving >$100M in annual marketplace or platform revenue
- Strong network of relationships within the ISV, AI model provider, and enterprise software communities
- Exceptional executive presence with ability to engage effectively with C-level executives at partner companies and enterprise customers
Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business) preferred
- Deep technical fluency with cloud infrastructure, containerization, AI/ML frameworks, and marketplace technologies
- Experience with SaaS business models, subscription economics, and software licensing
- Understanding of foundation model architectures, fine-tuning methodologies, and inference optimization
- Background in platform product management, developer relations, or technical partnership roles a plus
- Experience in a hyper growth technology company or successful marketplace startup
- Track record of thought leadership through speaking, writing, or industry engagement
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
