Job Purpose:
This role is accountable for process documentation, governance, commercial excellence and project governance within DP World’s Freight Forwarding global sales organization, with strong focus on commercial technology. The position ensures that Sales operational standards are defined, reviewed and existing processes are improved. The individual initiates and monitors system changes and improvements in close collaboration with the FF commercial team. The role is driving initiatives to enhance commercial tool utilization, translating user feedback into actionable developments. It ensures that processes are clearly defined, approved, documented, communicated, and continuously improved across the global network.
The role provides Business Process Ownership (BPO) for sales process governance, focusing on commercial excellence and governance and its documentation, compliance, and audit-readiness. A key responsibility is to support all initiatives related to commercial technology and its related documentation and roll-out.
Key accountabilities:
Defines operational standards for commercial technology – in collaboration with key commercial stakeholders.
Lead documentation, governance, and compliance for global Freight Forwarding sales processes, with strong focus on commercial technology.
Maintain and administer the sales process repository, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approvals.
Prepare Checklists for process audits, GEMBA walks, and compliance checks to ensure adherence.
Propose continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance and compliance.
Ensure all updated guidelines, structures, and process documents
Align governance and compliance standards with all regional sales organizations.
Support performance management activities based on global sales KPIs and the Sales Mantra.
Contribute to management reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional teams (Technology, Product, Procurement), and regional stakeholders
Ensure full adherence to DP World’s Code of Conduct, Safety, and Ethics policies.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Freight Forwarding, or related field.
3-5 years in sales operations, governance, compliance, or process management (freight forwarding/logistics mandatory).
Experience in process documentation, audits, and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong organizational and process analysis skills.
Audit, governance, and compliance expertise.
Data driven and technology savvy
Excellent communication skills for training and documentation delivery.
Familiar with performance management frameworks and KPIs.
