Job Purpose:

This role is accountable for driving analytics and reporting initiatives focused on commercial technology adaptation (Quote Tool, portal, NPM, etc). It also supports all commercial efforts to drive developments of commercial technology. Through the established Jira process.

The candidate needs to be technology savvy, data driven, analytical and process oriented and ensure the commercial community utilization of commercial technology is reviewed, reported and suggested countermeasures.

Key accountabilities: 

  • Reviews and analyses – through available data – the operationalization of commercial technology, its standards and providing insights to the senior management. 

  • Contribute to documentation, governance, and compliance for global Freight Forwarding sales processes, with strong focus on commercial technology.

  • Provide data insights into commercial technology and suggest countermeasure to the senior management

  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance and compliance, based on data analysis.

  • Support performance management activities based on the data analytics to – but not limited to – zero defect, community calls, QBR and ELT.

  • Contribute to management reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional teams (Technology, Product, Procurement), and regional stakeholders

  • Ensure full adherence to DP World’s Code of Conduct, Safety, and Ethics policies.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Freight Forwarding, or related field.

  • 3-5 years in sales operations, governance, compliance, or process management (freight forwarding/logistics mandatory), data analytics.

  • Experience in process documentation, audits, and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience in Jira (not mandatory, but beneficial), Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 

  • Proven ability to collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong data analytic skills.

  • Audit, governance, and compliance expertise.

  • Detail oriented and technology savvy.

  • Able to translate business requirements into BRD 

  • Excellent communication skills for training and documentation delivery.

  • Familiar with performance management frameworks and KPIs.
