Job Description

   

Join SUSE's dynamic and growing social media team as our Global Social Media Specialist! This is a pivotal, fun role where you'll drive our global social media strategy, humanize our brand, and create compelling content to tell SUSE's story. 

Ideal for a proactive communications storyteller or a junior marketing professional, this opportunity offers significant progression in a fast-paced, innovative sector.

What You'll Do:

  • Content & Campaign Development: Create engaging content to enhance SUSE's presence as a thought leader, including executive social media content. Develop and manage content calendars.

  • Strategy & Execution: Oversee daily management of SUSE's social media profiles (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram), leveraging each platform uniquely to drive engagement and achieve objectives.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Integrated Communications, Marketing) to ensure a consistent global social media presence and amplify key business messages.

  • Employee Advocacy: Manage the employee advocacy program, providing compelling content and training on best practices, particularly for sales.

  • Analytics & Insights: Monitor industry trends, track channel engagement and performance, analyze data against objectives, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Brand Monitoring & Support: Review employee content requests, monitor conversations related to SUSE, and provide timely support for amplification.

  • Social Media Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert, staying current on new features, platforms, and opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, Communications or related field.

  • Proven B2B social media or communication/marketing experience.

  • Hands-on experience managing diverse social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram) with a keen understanding of platform-specific strategies.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.

  • Strong copywriting skills.

  • Exposure to the tech/IT environment is highly desirable.
