As an Associate in Automated Trading Strategies within the Fixed Income Financing team, you will play a key role in developing and executing systematic trading strategies. You will work closely with a globally distributed team, collaborating across trading, quantitative research, and technology. This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. Job Responsibilities
- Analyse data to identify patterns and revenue opportunities
- Conduct back testing and assess pricing, risk management, and execution strategies
- Expand the group's library of modelling, analytics, and automation tools
- Review trading performance and make data-driven decisions
- Maintain and improve trading software systems and tools
- Resolve day-to-day trading issues
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including voice trading desks, sales, product, and technology
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats within a globally distributed team
- Contribute to a wide range of responsibilities spanning trading, quantitative research, and technology
- Participate in on-call support as required
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or other quantitative fields
- Relevant full-time experience in a related area
- Demonstrated programming skills in C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages
- Good knowledge of statistics and machine learning
- Attention to detail, adaptability, drive, and collaborative approach
- Demonstrated interest in markets and systematic trading
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Ability to understand and map data flows across applications and data sources
- Prior experience in Rates markets (cash or swaps)
- Knowledge of order types, Level 2 market data, and central limit order books
- Experience with KDB+/q
