Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a work package as part of a large transformation programme. The work package includes completing a technical integration design, identifying and mapping workflows/processes, detailing out technical requirements, and managing the implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for concluding the design, delivery, and deployment of the work package.

Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Location: London or Chennai (Hybrid)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize SMEs across the organisation into the work packages and, as needed, coordinate with delivery teams.
  • Provide coordination and support to design teams through design phase and the handover to scrum squads.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality management plans.
  • Support technical delivery via mix of internal and third-party suppliers.
  • Structure scope & goals for work packages, and maintain a comprehensive project documentation.
  • Own development of project milestones & timelines for delivery; as needed, adjust and adapt milestones & timelines to accommodate solution design changes.
  • Assist delivery teams through updates tracking, challenge and validate assumptions and output as required by the design and delivery teams.
  • Ensure critical interdependencies between work packages, including significant risks, are effectively managed.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking project KPIs, milestones, and budgets.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership, project sponsors, and project team members.
  • Work with the deployment team to ensure successful deployment of the work package deliverables.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager, preferably in a technology or digital transformation environment.
  • Experience managing projects related to service design, UX/UI design, process improvement, and/or software development.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and project reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience with payments and FX.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
