The Global Core Trade Product Manufacturing sits within the Global Core Trade Product organization and is a dynamic team focused on defining and implementing the target operating model for Core Trade. Our mission is to challenge existing paradigms, simplify and redesign legacy processes, and modernize our technology stacks. By leading a series of strategic technology and operational projects, we aim to drive superior client experiences, enhance efficiency, and ensure robust risk managementWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join as the SVP, Global Product Manufacturing Lead for Booking Services. This leadership role is pivotal in transforming our core trade booking services, driving innovation, and delivering significant value to the franchise.The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of core trade processes and systems, strong project and stakeholder management skills, and a keen commercial acumen to prioritize initiatives that deliver tangible results, such as revenue growth and expense reduction. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technology, finance, and operations, requiring a leader who can navigate complexity and drive change across a global organizationKey ResponsibilitiesProduct Innovation, Simplification & Value Creation
  • Define the future operating model for Core Trade financial products to improve profitability and simplify customer demands.
  • Identify opportunities to build new products and modernize infrastructure by standardizing complex processes.
  • Drive strategic capital management objectives, including significant contributions to Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) reduction.
  • Measure performance against industry peers to ensure our offerings remain best-in-class.
Operational Excellence & Efficiency
  • Define and implement Target Operating Models (TOM) for Core Trade products.
  • Continuously drive productivity enhancements and improve operational efficiency ratios.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline and automate processes, reducing manual touchpoints and operational risk.
Payments & Transaction Processing
  • Drive Straight Through Processing (STP) initiatives for payments to increase speed and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement advanced Auto-Reconciliation and Settlement capabilities.
  • Integrate innovative FX solutions to enhance product offerings and client value.
Financial Impact & Governance
  • Actively contribute to and lead initiatives focused on Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) reduction.
  • Define, monitor, and report on clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure product success and control effectiveness.
  • Establish robust metrics, analytics, and reporting mechanisms to provide real-time insights on control performance and risk exposure to senior management.
Credit Consumption Process Redesign
  • Lead the Helios Credit Consumption for Core Trade globally, ensuring adequate data quality and upstream and downstream linkages, ensuring adequate risk management in an efficient manner.
Accounting Framework
  • Operate at the intersection of product strategy, technology, finance, and operations to drive the design, development, and implementation of automated accounting and control solutions.
  • Ensure new solutions enhance efficiency, reduce operational risk, and ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal accounting standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience in Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, or a related product management/manufacturing role.
  • Trade Knowledge: A strong understanding of core trade finance products, end-to-end operational processes, and associated systems. Familiarity with Citi's policies and procedures is highly advantageous.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale, complex projects, including both technology and non-technology initiatives.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
