- Pricing & Margin Leadership: Lead pricing strategy and margin optimization across assigned product groups, including tactical pricing actions during supply constraints or market volatility. Establish pricing floors using cost inputs, segmentation, and market intelligence.
- Product & Asset Roadmap Ownership: Maintain mid‑ to long‑term product and asset roadmaps that support portfolio evolution, asset footprint decisions, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
- Portfolio Optimization & Profitability Projects: Drive profitability initiatives such as value engineering, SKU consolidation, SMOG risk reduction, inventory allocation improvements, and asset utilization enhancements.
- Market, Competitive & Regulatory Insight: Work with Marketing and Regulatory teams to analyse trends, competitor landscapes, supplier dynamics and pricing factors, translating insights into actions that strengthen long‑term competitiveness.
- Product Stewardship & Commercialization: Ensure product master data accuracy, manage SKU lifecycle activities, and coordinate cross‑functional launch and change processes to meet market needs.
- Business Enablement: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to support smooth execution across product lines and broader business initiatives. Estimated travel requirement: ~10%.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, marketing, business or finance, with 5–10 years of experience in product management, pricing, marketing, supply chain, procurement or operations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to translate market data into informed pricing and portfolio decisions.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills with a collaborative and customer‑focused approach.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast‑moving environments and demonstrating resilience, ownership, and a growth mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP is preferred.
- Experience within the specialty chemicals sector is an advantage.
For US Applicants: The expected salary range for this role is 117K – 143K$, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
